My Big Redneck Wedding: Jessica and Jon
Jessica and Jon were married on CMT's hit show My Big Redneck Wedding 3. They share their thoughts about the big day.
Jessica: My favorite part of the wedding was walking down the aisle to see his face. It was the first time that I ever saw him cry and everything just looked beautiful. Some of the hassles of the wedding was trying to get everyone to one common meeting place. His family lived right there in Osky while mine lived all over Missouri and Iowa Falls. The Missouri trip took them almost six hours and the Iowa Falls trip took them about four. My wedding planner was also my matron of honor and also my sister. She lived in Iowa Falls and I had to travel up there for two dress fittings and also a bachelorette party. She was supposed to head down to Bussey two days before the wedding was supposed to happen, but as it turned out she was the den leader of my nephew's cub scouts and had a banquet the night before the wedding. So her and her husband and her three kids got there sometime around 10pm the night before the wedding and from there it was cake making, party favor preparing and sign finalizing.
The absolute hardest part of the wedding was the location changing. We started out in the field at Boomers, then that was to cold for everyone. So we decided to go to Kin Folks, but there wasn't enough room for everyone plus the crew. So we finally decided on a bone-chilling (for the bride because everyone else could wear coats and not have to worry about covering up their outfit) sale barn. I thought it was amazing.
We had "pin the tail on the donkey" but the donkey was real. We had a tire-flipping contest where there was a big tire and a little one, but little did the guys know that decided to wimp out and choose the small one, it was full of fluid adding about 75 pounds to it. hehehe. We got married in a sale barn with two show calves in it since I used to show calves. We had a camo John Deere-colored wedding. The cake was squares because neither me nor Jon wanted the traditional, then we did sheet cakes for everyone to eat. We catered from Kin Folks, the greatest place to eat ever. Overall, the day was exactly what I had dreamed of. I got the man I loved and that was the only thing that could have made my day. (and it did!)
Jon: What I liked most bout the wedding was that most of my family was a big part of it. They helped as much as they could when they weren't working. The thing I didn't like about the wedding was that it didn't start when it was supposed to. And that everyone was running around like chickens with their heads cut off to get all the last minute changes done.

And we got hitched!
Mike says:
I am disappointed in CMT for covering such a wedding of a person with such violent history, and criminal past such as Jon. CMT should be ashamed of not checking background checks on such people before promoting them like this on TV.
