Martina McBride Endorses Healthy Teen Dating
Martina McBride will not stand for any abuse. Nor will her three daughters or anybody else's daughters for that matter, which is one reason she has partnered with the National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline (NTDAH) for My Time to Shine. It's an initiative for letting the world know that many teen relationships can turn ugly. The NTDAH's Web site says that any kind of controlling behavior can be considered abuse. It can be physical, verbal or emotional -- and it's all wrong. "Young people today have more opportunities to make decisions about their lives, and it places a lot of pressure on them early," said McBride. "If we can help them to form healthy relationships at an earlier age in life, they will make better choices for life partners, and as a mom, I want to be part of that." If you see the My Time to Shine merchandise at McBride's upcoming shows, buy it. Proceeds will help raise funds to benefit the teen helpline, 1-866-331-9474.

Great to hear! That’s a good cause and it’s really important. On a side note, her eyes are like insanely pretty! I hope I look as good as her, or even half as good, when I am her age haha.

All women need to develop self esteem, self love and trust for intuition to stand in their power making conscious decisions about who they choose to welcome into their lives.
