Dolly Parton Sees the Beauty in a Trashy Neighbor
Someday I would love to visit with Dolly Parton, and if I could actually get my mouth to move, I'd ask her about those early days in Nashville, the stories behind some of her lesser-known songs and how she developed such an incredible work ethic. But in the meantime, I'm very satisfied with this lengthy interview I found on CNN.com. She chats with Reggie Aqui about seeing the beauty in her trashy neighbor, how the economic slump is affecting her own business and the international success of her Imagination Library. Plus, check out the quick duet at the end.

Becky says:
My personal view, I love, love, love country music and i would love to see a country music award show with more of the country stars rather than others. I think it would be nice to see more of the older ones and ones that are not as front and centered right now presenting awards. Garth Brooks, Patty Loveless, Kenny, Dolly, Vince. I know that some will have prier engagements but it would be nice to see more of them. I want to see more of a country show persay. Please concider it. It needs to stay more country oreinted.
Country Music Fan Forever,
Becky
