Leann and Gary's Redneck Wedding Blog
Leann and Gary celebrated their wedding day on CMT's show My Big Redneck Wedding 3. They share the story of their big day.
Being big racing fans, Gary and I were at a four-day race called the Legendary 100 at Cedar Lake Speedway. We were at the Outpost Bar and Grill owned by friends of ours, Jeremy and Jesse Penman. We thought, what a great idea to get married at a race track in Victory Lane, being that we both love racing. Gary proposed to me after watching races later that night. So that was how it all began. One year later, we were married at Cedar Lake Speedway in Victory Lane, with racecars on the track. With me being in my white dress and all the groomsman and Gary in their racing suits on a DIRT track. Married by a minister who happens to be a racecar driver, too. We Said "I Do," and shortly afterward Gary put me in a two-seater late model racecar, and proceeded to take me around the track for a victory lap at speed, so I could feel what it was like being in a racecar. It was well worth ruining my hair by putting on a helmet. What a RUSH! Our wedding was very unique and we will always remember, with all of our friends and family, how special and exciting it was. - Leann
