Taylor Swift Says Don't Lose the Music
Do you hear what I hear? It's Taylor Swift, singing her song "Fifteen" softly and quietly with her acoustic guitar. And throwing some advice in there to take care of our ears. She says it's pretty imperative for her to have good hearing. Why? "I need to hear every note clearly," she says. Swift is joining fellow country artists like Jimmy Wayne, Trisha Yearwood and Chuck Wicks in this Sound Matters initiative to get people to take better care of their hearing with regular checkups. Because according to the organization's Web site, people today are losing their hearing two and a-half times faster than their parents or grandparents. "Taking care of your hearing isn't hard, it just takes a little common sense," Swift says. "So don't lose the music. Listen responsibly."

Hey in all fairness Taylor has a great singing voice NOW.. A few years ago when she was just coming out at what 16? or so? She was a little shaky but anyone of you that is trashing on her voice now knows shes matured into a great singer. It’s time to give up the poor excuse of ‘the girl can’t hold a tune’ and admit she’s grown into a great sucessful artist who a lot hold up there with Jennifer, Shania, Reba, Faith, Martina, Dolly & Leann. This is a good cause. What is causing so much hearing loss? Loud car sound systems and concerts? I went to a rock concert and it was so loud that everyone was almost deaf afterwards. Some people were worried before it started and they brought earplugs. Some country concerts are getting loud with all of the huge amps. Good luck if your seat is right in front of one. Maybe they need to start handing out free earplugs at the door at all concerts.

Is Disney taking over CMT? This is absolutely shameful. That Cyrus chick can’t sing to save her life either, and swift needs to “hear” her name in the media every other second, that she will do just about anything to get attention. Neither one of them cares about the “fans” only how much media attention and money that fans can make for them. When will the music industry in general see past the ploys of today’s young “stars” and money. The best way to save your hearing is wearing earplugs when Taylor’s singing. All her fans must because they think she can actually sing! I’m just going by the times I’ve heard her sing live. She definitely does not sound like her CDs.

Alex just to let you know Taylor does care about her fans she is one of the few artist that DON’T charge a fan for being a fan unlike carrie underwood and company who charge a 30 bucks per yr. And she actually spends time with her fans for free.
As for the singing Taylor is such a unique singer and person. Her voice is so pure and real. Her songs are hers and she sings them with a passion that many others don’t have. Also she’s the most down-to-earth person you’ll ever meet.
What is shameful is how grown adults bad mouth these two young ladies! Take a look at yourselves and remember you have to answer to someone someday.

I’m a huge Carrie fan, but I love other artist too. It’s okay fans! :) Anyway I went to see Rascal Flatts on tour last year when Taylor was touring with them . I have to tell you guys I loved her singing it was absolutely remarkable and mind you I had gone with all that ‘Taylor can’t sing attitude’ probably more than anybody else posting here, and I was so determined not to like her portion of the show and It turned out to be the best part of the concert! Go figure, just telling it like it is. Also, Taylor disney product? Taylor will be 20 yrs and has never been a disney product.
Now as far as Miley goes, I honestly can’t say anything about her because I haven’t been to one of her concerts. But and take note all, even if I did go to a Miley concert and didn’t like it, I wouldn’t go looking for a blog, or thread or article to leave a negative remark about her on. Following an artist you don’t think can sing just to post negative on their boards, threads, blogs, articles etc is just displaying childish behavior.
