Ralph Lauren and J.C. Penney Back Rascal Flatts
First, Ralph Lauren created a line for J.C. Penney. Then, J.C. Penney decided to sponsor the Rascal Flatts tour. And thus the American Living Unstoppable Tour and a two-year sponsorship was born. To make it even cooler, Rascal Flatts have a new song (or jingle, depending on how you look at it) inspired by the spirit of the American Living clothing line. It will only be available on a special version of the band's Unstoppable CD sold at J.C. Penney stores. A statement from the retailer says, "Rascal Flatts' music transcends genres and resonates strongly with our customers -- the more than half of America that shops at J.C. Penney each year." And Flatts frontman Gary LeVox says, "No brand better represents Rascal Flatts than American Living." But the big question is, will the guys ditch their high-end designer jeans for the $19 American Living ones during the tour? We'll have to wait for the kickoff before we know for sure.

.. .I have a lot of things to say about this blog, but I will first start by saying Rascal Flatts would be better off if they were represented by Eureka Vacuum cleaners. At least they’d have something in common, ,

“No brand better represents Rascal Flatts than American Living.” … Gary LeVox
American Living = Made In China
Rascal Flatts = country music posers
A perfect farce.
A perfect fit.

Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift should have a contest of who can sing off key the most and still have a career the longest.
Hum…. says:
You guys are some loud whiners! Rascal Flatts are a great group and don’t deserve your nasty comments!
K says:
Give me a break, Rascal Flatts are more talented than Taylor Swift will ever be.
K says:
And they’re NOT always off-key.
K says:
They are not the best singers, but they’re better than Taylor. Just because you see a few performances from them a year doesn’t mean they’re always bad. I follow them, and they’ve had lots of good performances. Some bad, yes, but some good too. Even if they’re not the best live, at least they always sing. There have been rumors that “another artist” was lipsyncing the end of her song at the ACM’s, and the same rumors were flying after the AMA’s. A real artist sings whether they are as good as the album or not, plain and simple.
Their recent tour also played to over one million (like last year), and they were in the top ten in all genres. They also became the first country artists EVER to sell out Madison Square Garen three consecutive times. “Still Feels Good” sold two million copies; considering how crappy the CD market is, that’s saying something. Not to mention they sold equal in downloads as well. And they’ve won vocal group of the year for ages. They’ve won it at the ACM’s, CMA’S, AMA’S, and have won it at the “People Choice” awards for several years now. If so many people thought they weren’t talented, they wouldn’t just now be getting the Favorite Group award at a fan-voted awards show, and they wouldn’t be winning it year after year.
They still continue to have successful radio singles, with almost every one of their songs (with the exception of “Bob That Head) going at least top ten. And nine of those songs have gone number one.
They’ve performed on some of the biggest shows on TV including American Idol (the biggest show in the country), “Oprah” and Dancing With the Stars. They’ve performed on “Good Morning America” at least half-a-dozen times, “The Veiw,” “Ellen Degeneres” “Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and the “Today Show” among others. As I said, they’ve performed (and you have to be invited to do so) on all these shows (with the exception of DWTS), at least twice. Obviously they’re bringing in veiwers for lots of shows.
Bottom line is, these guys have a HUGE fanbase, and you naysays need to get over yourselves. Many people know they can sing, judging by their huge touring numbers. And many networks invite them to perform several times a year for shows. That doesn’t happrn unless a network knows an artist will bring in viewers. They have continued to be one of the most successful groups in music, and are only becoming more popular.

Way to go K. That’s all I have to say.

PT Barnum would be better as a sponsor

I think Rascal Flatts is great and I have there CD’s. I will buy there next one too. I have no problem with them wearing the cloths at all. I purchase them for me, my kids and grandkids. Penny’s has been around forever and they carry good quality play in the dirt or go on a date cloths. Ralph Lauren has some very nice stuff that lots of people wear. Why in the world would anyone diss them being sponsored by them is beyond me.

Rascal Flatts are wonderful singers. All of you people dissing them probally listen to those crappy rock/pop bands that Rascal Flatts keeps outselling.Weather its in cd sells,or concerts they are at the top of their game now,and i don’t see that changing anytime soon. They have very devoted, and protective fans!I think it’s so womderful when they beat the rock/pop acts at the AMA’S,and The People’s Choice Awards. They deserve EVERY award they win.Almost 10 years, and still going strong.
