CMT's Message Boards Are Not Broken
They're just new and improved. A lot of people have commented that they can't get to their favorite CMT Message Board, so hopefully I can clear the air. CMT has launched a new community. It's free and easy to sign up and offers more than just a place to talk about artists. If you sign up, you can join discussion groups about your favorite artists and even suggest new topics of discussion. You can also comment directly on CMT content like videos, photo galleries and news stories, and load your own videos and photos for others to discover. Each member has his or her own profile, and from there, you can access the discussion groups, upload content, message with friends and invite more friends to join. Best of all, if you were already a member of the CMT community, all you have to do is log in and accept some new rules and regulations. For everyone else, it's as easy as entering an e-mail address and coming up with a display name. The log-in bar should appear at the top left of the CMT homepage.

Carol says:
I kind of wish they had posted this blog a bit earlier. I think a lot of people were confused, including me. I thought they had done away with the boards. I have to add, I do like the new boards, just took some getting used to.
Ken says:
I think the boards could use a lot of tweaking. It is not as good as the old one because you have to put each board you go-to in your favorites to get back to them because like the old one you can’t just click back and go back to the message board to read the next message. There a some other problems too like not ever artist has their board up yet. I have heard it from others that smileys don’t work. My guess though is that CMT is not ab;e to make the changes needed to make the boards better for the users.
Greatdivide08 says:
You went and fixed something that wasn’t broke.Nice job.The message boards suck now.
JW says:
I’m getting more used to the new boards and liking them better than I did at first. However, one thing that I don’t like is that when you make a post to a thread, it doesn’t go to the top like it did on the old boards. It’s a pain to have to go through all the threads to see if there are any new posts.
Jason says:
There is no where to sign or log in at the upper right corner. It’s not listed. Do I need some kind of tool on my computer? What’s the deal, it keeps coming up as ERROR.
Claire says:
There is no where to sign or log in at the upper right corner. It’s not listed. Do I need some kind of tool on my computer? What’s the deal, it keeps coming up as ERROR.
Claire says:
Now it says Connection Interrupted. HELP!!!!!
cag says:
Agree…it sucks….not user-friendly AT ALL !!!!
MaryHelenPrejean says:
Mine also says Connection Interrupted..Try Again. I hit it again I get the same thing. It has been 2 days now.
John says:
Good going CMT. I get the same Connection Interrupted. Try Again. How long will this connection be Interrupted? It has been days. Can we fix it now?
Vicki says:
I liked just the links. I mean you use to go to a page of links and clickrd on your link to the message board you wanted. Now I have to go to a page, to another page, to another page…sometimes the board I want is on the 2nd page. Today it was on the 5th page. Just make getting to your favorite board easier and I’m happy.
Kelli says:
Fix the boads CMT. Did this site CRASH? Please give us something easier to use instead of figuring it out. I don’t have LOG IN access. WHY??
Mary says:
Well this is depressing having gone here alot now I am not sure I should even try to go to a message board!
Ms. Feathers says:
I tried the new board for my favorite artist once about a week ago, but I could tell it wasn’t ready for prime time yet. I got that connection/error message. Fortunately, I have the link to the original board in my bookmarks, and the discussions are still going strong there. I’ll stay there until I hear that the new format is working properly, and is as user-friendly as the original boards.
For others posting on this blog - add a few constructive comments to your rants. If you want it to get better, I’m sure CMT would appreciate specific comments so they can work the bugs out.
Linda says:
It sucks. They were fine before and now CMT has totally ruined them. I’l be looking for better, easier places to talk about country artists. I hope the traffic here tanks so badly they will be forced to change them back.
solongsowrong says:
Navigating around the new site and boards, I see most of my concerns and questions have already been addressed by others, so if CMT is paying attention, I see no need to be redundant. Hopefully they’ll find ways to fix the problems that aren’t so user friendly. My only question I have here, is why did they switch things around before they had all their ducks in the water. Total chaos is not good customer relations.
CMT has been driving Country music fans from their TV station with their non music programming, and are now working on upsetting the website users with their new layout that obviously isn’t ready for use. Why go to all this trouble, if you’re goal is to drive every one away?
janet says:
Is there a blog for trading spouses. Some of these people on this show are just so full of themself that I want to just send them a message and others like the Biggens family are so great I hope they do not judge all white people like the one they got stuck with. If there is a blog, can you please direct me to it. Thank you
seoelite says:
Thank you. I read herelots of valuable sentences. Greetings from Poland.
Melanie says:
CMT…………PLEASE fix your log in and out button. It’s not even included on my computer. Your site comes up but you can’t sign in. HELLO!!!
Morgan says:
How many ppl have to complain before CMT changes its format. I cannot log in. It says CONNECTION DISRUPTED. It’s been saying this for 4 DAYS NOW!!!! FIX IT CMT!
Megan says:
CMT…….Your Website continues to say
CONNECTION INTERRUPTED!
THE CONNECTION TO THE SERVER WAS RESET WHILE THE PAGE WAS LOADING.
THE NETWORK LINK WAS INTERRUPTED WHILE NEGOTIATING A CONNECTION. PLEASE TRY BACK!!
CMT—IT HAS BEEN SAYING THIS FOR 4 DAYS….GIT UR DONE!
Sherri says:
The problem is Darlin’ Chris Parton is that it wil not let some of us sign up. GET It NOW. It’s replying Connection Interrupted!!!!!
Mason says:
Please Fix the Artists user boards. I cannot sign in. It keeps saying Connection Interrupted.
Grace says:
How do you get on the message boards? I have no log in printed on the web site. It is no where to be found. When I pull up “In The Moment” where I always post, it tell me Connection Interrupted. Why is it so hard to access CMT’S boards all of a sudden. Did the web Crash? You may want to look into this.
Chase says:
There is no log in bar to the right. I can get CMT web but there is no log in posted anywhere, not even in the upper right hand side. What have you done CMT??? I think your web page has been Hi Jacked!!!
Amy says:
I have had no problems logging in or browsing around. The only thing is it is time consuming.
Chris Parton says:
Not sure about this connection interrupted message … are you trying to use your old links to go straight to the board? I don’t those will work anymore. You may have to just “start all over.” Like, you will have to go to the link I put in the blog and physically create a profile, then you can move about the community. Also, the log in bar should be in the top left, not the top right. And instead of looking for your favorite board page by page, you might try using the search function, it seemed to work for me earlier. This is a new system, so yes there will be a few bugs, but it is also a top priority for us to get working properly. Thanks for the comments, let me know if that answers any questions.
Leigh says:
These message boards are not working for all of us who posted here last week and for years.
Jamie says:
There isn’t even a log in bar at the left.
lorendasue says:
When I figured out that the system had changed, I didn’t have any problems signing up and using it, but I’m using a DSL or cable modem connection. I find it similar in a lot of ways to MySpace. One feature I LIKE about this new “community” system is that private messages are available, so some of the messages that used to be put on the message boards which are fairly personal can now be kept personal through the messaging system. I haven’t completely figured out everything about it, but I think as more people use it, it will become easier for me to figure out.
Ham says:
When you post a new message, there is no button or connection to go back to the forum you were on. This system is awful and it will be really easy for the creeps to prey on minors with the private message system. There is no way the CMT mods can keep up with those type of actions. Cannot wait till the lawsuits come like on MYspace as this is ripe for abuse. Already people are signing up with ages of over 100 or any fake thing they want. Also, how can you keep up with the new posts if a thread doesn’t rise to the top when something new is added? Good bye longest threads on the fan forums…
We really did not need CMT as a social network site, there are others who do it way better.
Leslie says:
Please someone help me with CMT. I can’t log on. There is no log on button. When you pull up the artist, it doesn’t work. Can someone explain step by step what needs to be done. Can you still use CMT or a Specific My Space page to log on to your favorite Artist.
lorendasue says:
When I click on the “it’s free and easy to sign up” which is highlighted in the blog here, my computer takes me directly to the sign-up page. You should click on that and get the same thing. If you have been a member of the CMT boards, then you simply put in the e-mail address (not your user name) you used for the previous boards and the password you used on the previous boards. You will then be asked to update some profile information and you should be in business. My experience after doing this had been that I can sign in by clicking “log in” shown on the upper left hand portion of the main cmt.com page and then go to the message board of the “group” of the artist that I want to check out. You will see “join group” at the top of the new message board of the artists and when you click on that, you can quickly go to the boards of your favorite artists. Not all artists have boards, yet, but they’re working on it. Hope that helps you some.
Melanie says:
I have been a member for years and I still get the Cmt page but it doesn’t have any place asking me for my e mail address. It’s so weird. I have a log in but there is no place on the page to log in.
Kris says:
The message board has lots of gliches CMT are you at least working on them?
Bill says:
CMT please fix your web page. It’s telling me that the Connection is Interrupted for 3 days now. What in the heck have you gone and done. The boards were fine as they were. Did your sight crash because of too much overload?
Lyle says:
Is there Anyone Smarter than a 5th Grader at CMT that could fix the boards? Any answer? Do you need to phone a friend or something to figure out what’s wrong?
Rita says:
I guess CMT did not want a user friendly site anymore. What a tragedy Country Music has become. Using tools on websites that people do not have access to.
Chris Parton says:
I also had a little trouble re-registering the other day. I tried using a different e-mail address and then it worked fine. I would suggest trying that, and if you only have one e-mail, they are for the most part free from major providers. I don’t think using Firefox is an issue, I’m using that, too. If you don’t have the log in button at the top of your CMT page, try following the link I put in the blog where it says “it’s free and easy to sign up.” That should take you to a screen where you can log in or get signed up. Again, the old ways of getting on the message boards (through an artist page or something like that) probably won’t work, just because they are now in a different place. You’ll have to go through the CMT Community sign up. Once you get signed up you can reset your favorite links and stuff.
Payton says:
It doesn’t even have that on “my’ computer. Everything else comes up except for sign in, log on and it’s free and easy. I guess it’s free and easy for you since you write aboute country music.
Alexa says:
I just signed in again and it came up as Connection Interrupted try again later. This is the 4th day.
Chris Parton says:
You could also try getting to the sing up page through a search engine. Type in CMT Community Sign Up and it should come up in the top few results as CMT - Sign Up.
EmilyAnn says:
Doesn’t work that way either.
EmilyAnn says:
It states that this web site does not supply identity info. Your connection to this web site is not encrypted. What does this mean and what do I have to do to fix it. Thanks, Chris for your help!!
Ham says:
Honestly what were you thinking? Do you want the fans to be able to talk to each other or to be able to talk about the musicians in the group’s category? Either way, you have not facilitated the discussion because the threads do not rise to the top of the forum when a new reply is posted. There is no way to keep track of which threads have new posts. Who cares it the thread was started five days ago? When I login I am trying to look at new posts. You do not have fields to show new replies, the number of times a thread was viewed, users online currently, users online in the last 24 hours, today’s birthdays or any of the other typical features of an intelligent forum software package. Please get the admins to go to their administrative panel and fix the glitches so we know if there is a new post in a thread. Sammi wammi - this is hands down the worst forum I have ever seen and I bet your consult is getting paid big bucks. SHAME ON YOU BIG ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY. No Bailout for you guys after this bad of a gaffe.
Brenda says:
I can get on Canada’s CMT message boards but can’t get into the US of A Nashville, TN CMT boards. I am not even from Canada. How silly is that. Same deal different COUNTRY!
Connie says:
Well I guess I am in a minority I had no trouble signing up for the board I wanted Once I found it .. I just bookmark the boards I go to..That is what I did before. I do like the fact you can add pics to the boards. But it says add a link Well they don’t let that happen I tried to post some links and all were removed. So if we can’t post a link take that feature off..
Big AJ fan says:
‘new’ but not improved by a long shot! I hate the new boards. It’s a real pain now. NOT USER FRIENDLY!
westex says:
If you enter a discussion thread with 35 replies, for example, you can only see 20 of them. There are no PREV/NEXT buttons to click.
If you enter a discussion thread from the recent activity section of someone’s profile, you can’t navigate back up to the group main page to see what else is being discussed. You don’t even know what group you are in.
westex says:
OK. The boards aren’t broken. They just need to be fixed.
There is a post by __CMT admin__ on Carrie Underwood’s group discussion that says…
“We at CMT.com would like to welcome you to the new improved Groups area in CMT.com.
We listened to you over the years, and now have given you the ability to upload photos and videos of your favorite artists, links to other sites about those artists, in addition to starting discussion threads.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t bring everything over from the old system….
Your friends at CMT.com”
If you try to “link to other sites about those artists” you get a message from __Flux Moderator__ that says you violated the terms of use and your content gets banned.
SO WHICH IS IT? ARE WE ALLOWED TO ADD EXTERNAL LINKS OR NOT?
If this is improvement, I’d hate to see a downgrade.
smartmove says:
Don’t care for these boards and was very disappointed that there was no announcement made that there was a change coming. The old board was much better and easier to get to.

The nature of a cell phone jammer
By mobile jammer (jammer, cell phone jammer, cell signal jammer) people understand a mechanism set to interlock signals that the cell phones send forth. Cell phones will not be able to get or send signals to the station if a phone jammer is on. Phone jammer was elaborated by military forces. This mechanism admits to pose the enemy and cuts the interception of the information, during significant secret military operations, in particular.
The sphere of usage
The usage of the cell phones jammers is distributed approximately everywhere. But generally they are employed in places where silence and privacy play the key part. For instance, cell phone jammer can be observed in police departments and military organizations because it is the private information that is highly praised in the places of this kind. Mobile phone jammer can also be found in prisons for the purpose of hampering prisoners from using the cell phones that they have carried illegally into the prison. Therefore, variety of possible runaways and misdeeds is averted. In hospitals mobile phone jammers are very useful if there is delicate installation that can be harmed by the signals of the mobile phones.
Jammers typology
It is accepted to distinguish several types of jammers: mobile phone jammer, Wi-Fi jammer, Bluetooth jammer, 4G jammer, GPS jammer and others. Every type has its particular service area, characteristics, properties and prices. The types of jammers are rather various, that’s why it is necessary to advise qualified specialists to pick out the jammer that will meet your demands and objectives.
