My Big Redneck Wedding 3: Sandra and Dave
Sandra and Dave were married on the hit CMT show My Big Redneck Wedding. They write about their big day.
I got married! Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives. Everyone who attended said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Everything went pretty smooth. I wasn't very nervous nor was Dave, but that may of had to do with us having a buzz. There is one thing I would like to mention and that is my camera was stolen off the bridal table during the reception and I really don't care about the camera but on the memory card was the pictures my daughter took. Those were the memories she wanted from my special day. And though I have over 950 pictures, none of them can replace the ones that my daughter took, like me getting my hair done and me and my daughter in the limo and her helping me get ready. My only hope is that one day someone will return the memory card. I could care less about the camera, I can replace that. Gotta go -- my husband and I have a game of Naked Duck Duck Goose to play!

Thank you so much for dedicating the show at the end to my wonderful cousin Mark Ward who passed away last year. It was great to see him one more time. The wedding was so wonderful. It was really cool to see places I used to go when I lived up there.

Your wedding was beyond beautiful!!! I LOVED YOUR DRESS!!! The Duck blind alter just looked wonderful like yall put alot into it. The show was dedicated to Dave’s bestman Mark he was killed in a motorcycle accident in just a few weeks after the wedding. We really miss him he was truly the bestman.

I wanted to say Congrat’s on your wedding and WOW the dedication at the end was really fast. I looked to make sure that it wasnt one of you two. I am sorry for your loss. I loved your wedding. This is the first time that I have written anything to anyone from the show but your wedding was one of the best that I have seen on here. I have been married almost 10 years to my Sweety. I can’t believe it, I was flipping through the channels and my husband says stop…go back…I really didn’t want to watch redneck weddings, but couldn’t resist since I am from Cottage Hills and my husband noticed that you all were from Woodriver, IL….so where did you get married exactly? I was quite a bizarre and unusual event….but I liked the fact that it was different. Sandy, Your wedding was great! I loved the duck hunting theme. I too had a camo wedding last month. We had camo wedding bands made for us online from Camoring. I think that must have been wear your were from too. My husband says that was the only ring he would wear and he is still wearing it!! Nice redneck wedding! :-) I actually viewed it on my phone lol The Dedication to your friend Mark was very sweet but went by so fast, and because the picture on my phone was so small I could not read what it said. Finally, because I couldn’t stop thinking that maybe it was one of the two of you, I had to log onto CMT.com to try and find out. I am so sorry to learn of your friend’s passing. Our lives are precious and fleeting and I’ve learned, after losing my husband at the age of 37 to hold close the people that are dearest to me.

I got the rings from St.Clair square in Fairview Heights, IL the dedication at the end was for our best man and best friend, he passed away about 3 weeks after the wedding.
