Wynonna Finds a Weight Loss Ally With Alli
So many of us resolve to lose weight at the start of every year. But if you have a lot to lose, your odds of getting the weight off are better if you don't try to go it alone. Now that Wynonna Judd has signed on to be the voice of Alli, the over-the-counter fat melter, you may be more encouraged to stick with your plan. Her story will sound so familiar to so many: "When things got tough, I found comfort in food and found myself becoming increasingly unhealthy," she says. The Web site notes that Wy started a new, healthier chapter in her life with the help of Alli. Soon they promise to have all kinds of Wynonna-inspired ways to make 2009 the year of a leaner body. "Learning how to make and maintain healthier lifestyle choices -- it keeps me honest with myself and allows me to set realistic goals," she says. And it looks like she's close to meeting one resolution already this year. Her seventh studio album, Sing, will be released Feb. 3.

I have loved, and followed Lady Wy over the years, and despite her battles with weight- or perhaps because of,
I find her very real, transparent, and find encouragement
from her attitude. She is a strong woman regardless of her struggles & I admire her. I’m looking forward to NEW music from her in 2009.

I can’t wait to see Wy results from alli! I think she is beautiful just the way she is. Her and Lisa Marie Presley could be sisters.

ok people trying to lose weight is good but they dont need to go overbroad with it some weight is good but being to skinny is unhealthy to. i cant remerber when it came out but about a year ago a study said being to skinny is both unhealthy and unsitely. and people that are modreately over weight but walk 5-6 miles aday are just as healty as people that exerise regualur.
RVAL says:

Darren says:
Yawn!!!! and this affects country music how??
Shaun says:
It is cool that Wy is getting healthier and i hope that this brings her great joy. She has such a soulful voice and this improvement in her health will also translate into even a possibly stronger sounding Wynonna Judd! Look out coutry music, she might when a few more Awards in the future with a trimmer figure. Vanity should not have that affect but unfortunately it does.

I bet if Wynonna and Lisa Marie took a DNA test they would be sisters by the King. Afterall Naomi never truly came out with the father - just said it was a guy in Elvis’ band. And Wynonna has the natural talent and the uncanny curled lip. I say DNA would prove it.
Her father is known-Offical news release says:
Charles Jordan, biological father of Wynonna Judd, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000 at his home in Louisa, Ky., near the West Virginia border, according to the coroner for Lawrence County, Ky. He was 56. Cause of death is still under investigation, the coroner said. The singer learned about her father’s death Monday (Aug. 14), a spokeswoman for Judd said. Jordan lived alone. Judd grew up believing that Michael Ciminella, husband to her mother, Naomi Judd, and father to her sister, Ashley Judd, was her father. Wynnona learned that Jordan was her real father several years ago, but the two never met, the spokeswoman said. Jordan’s body was cremated. A memorial service is planned for Saturday (Aug. 19), but details were unavailable at press time.
