Brad Paisley's Economic Forecast for 2009 Concerts
Forget CNBC and the Wall Street Journal. We have Brad Paisley. And his forecast for 2009? "I think (2009) is going to be a little worse than 2008," he told The Tennessean about the concert business. However, he added that he thinks people are still going to buy tickets because "we're going to keep our prices low." Ever the image-conscious nice guy, Paisley also sounds concerned about how it would look to go overboard with too many trucks full of too much equipment. "There's something really ostentatious about rolling into these towns that way when everyone's hurting," he said. "I want to be smart about how we are doing this because it is a delicate time." Isn't it good to know that stars like Paisley can connect with real people through their music and their marketing strategies?

Christine says:
He is such a nice guy for what he said. He seems to have so much respect for others.
Melissa says:
I love Brad. He seems to be such a nice guy and his music is good, too :-)
Ronda says:
I haven’t got the chance yet to meet Brad, but I met Kimberly and she’s very nice. I got the chance to meet his tour manager, Brent, and he was nice to get Brad’s autograph for me at his last concert in Vegas, and he knows that I want to meet him.
stephanie says:
I hope more artists follow in Brad’s footsteps and lose some of the stage equipment. I don’t pay to see a light and smoke show…just the music!
