Big & Rich, Rascal Flatts are Popular With Stranded Travelers
One snowy night last week, thousands of people were stranded in the St. Louis airport. And a lot of them were soldiers making their journey home from a tour of duty in the Middle East. As everyone there killed time together, this story from the Huffington Post reveals that they eventually got around to comparing iPod content. And you'll never guess what songs were some of the most significant to them: Big & Rich's "Eighth of November" and Rascal Flatts' "Me and My Gang." But they also liked stuff from Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Montgomery Gentry, Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw and Chris LeDoux. It's interesting to hear what a cross section of America talks about when nobody (except the Huffington Post) is watching.
