John Rich Weds Longtime Girlfriend
While most of the country fans in Nashville (and let's face it, the rest of the U.S.) were in front of their televisions on Saturday night watching CMT Giants, John Rich was busy marrying his longtime girlfriend Joan Bush. She's a former model who now runs First Class Models in Texas. And they've been together for some five years. Why they decided to finally tie the knot is unknown. For a man who seems to adore being in the limelight, Rich, 34, managed to keep this relationship on the down low. They didn't make a habit of appearing together at events and they must've had to juggle all the hardships of a long-distance romance. Reports are saying that the couple said their I Do's in a tiny ceremony in Nashville, with a big ol' reception at the Fontanel Mansion.

Joan was by John’s side on the red carpet & sitting next to him at SEVERAL award shows…you people just didn’t know who you were looking at & he wasn’t going to flaunt something special to a world that would love to destroy it. Some people give all they can on stage & in public, but you have to respect them for wanting to keep their private lives PRIVATE!

He didn’t have to say who he was dating, but he never acted like a man in love. He didn’t want to flaunt Joan but he sure flaunted all the other girls he fooled around with while dating her. Don’t sound like he was too concerned about privacy then. Can’t ignore his behavior.
Yeah a a model should have pictures somewhere. Everyone calls themselves a model these days.

I can’t see how she is happy about their arrangement. He chases other women, parties all the time, and never takes her with him in public. He wouldn’t even admit to being in a relationship until they were married! He didn’t have to name names.
Sounds like a man who wants to keep his options open.

I was under the impression he was interested in Kellie Pickler,a.k.a “Country Music’s Princess Idol”, but my heard it thru the grapevine gossip is not at all true…
but John/Kellie both are artist that take their God Given Talent with pride and tell their story thru their music…congrats on marriage …congrats Joan on your marriage and congrats to Ccountry Music’s Princess Idol you are amazing also

Who says he wasn’t interested in Kellie?? He has been seen around Nashville with MANY women, including Kellie, while he was dating Joan. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they had a quiet fling - they definitely flirt enough.
If it’s true, Kellie would have been just one of his many girls he kept on the side while Joan wasn’t around. His womanizing is common knowledge, and is also documented in court filings on the internet (nashvillegab.com). Apparently, Joan is the only person who doesn’t know. Or maybe she doesn’t care.
This can’t be much of a relationship, so I don’t see why people are so optimistic about it. Once a cheater, always a cheater. But maybe he will be more discreet now.
