Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks Prepare New Music for (RED)Wire
Who doesn’t have $5 a month to hear exclusive tunes and keep people alive? That’s the big idea behind (RED)Wire, which is billing itself as a new digital music magazine that users will “experience in an immersive, visual, magazine-like way.” Whatever that means. When you join, you get new songs from artists like the Dixie Chicks, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris and other do-gooder types every Wednesday. They drop right into your iTunes library, ready to quickly burn or sync. The proceeds are going to help people living with HIV in Africa. Since today Dec.1 is World AIDS Day, it’s an ideal day to start.

I understand wanting to help people in need… but everywhere you look, portions of profit are going to help fight AIDS in Africa. WHY, are we not putting portions of those profits toward fightin AIDS in the UNITED STATES!!
