Life in the Slow Lane for Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman
This is how I picture life in Hollywood: You are a star and you want to go out for coffee or a mani/pedi. So you call your publicist, who "leaks" that information to the paparazzi, and then voila: You are on the cover of Us Weekly. And that is exactly the opposite of life in Middle Tennessee, which is why Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban love it so much. They can get on with their routine, normal lives doing routine, normal things (and even delivering meals to homebound folks for Meals on Wheels), without the constant media scrutiny. Kidman told The Tennessean that people are getting accustomed to seeing her around town, and that she hasn't even been recognized some of the time. "Or if we were, they didn't say, and that is lovely," she said.

I loooove watching Keith perform on t.v. as well as in concert he is my fav. country music singer EVER!!!
and I think that Nicole has helped him sooo much in everything that he has done and their baby is the cutest baby I think I have ever seen and I wish them the best of

I’m absolutely proud of both of Nicole and Keith. They like many of us have had our struggles and I am so happy that they worked them out instead of just giving up. I’m glad to see they have made their home in Tennessee…I’ve never been there but have heard how lovely it is. Family is number 1 you guys….and you have picked the perfect place to raise your crop!

Keith & Nicole DO seem like a normal, sweet couple that are NOT asking for limelight (despite being public personas) and just living life in the way that seems right and natural to THEM. There are many families whose kids are not thrown in the public eye on a regular basis- let them be NORMAL every-day families. For those who argue that “that’s what they get for being artists/celebs/it comes with the territory,” I don’t think that’s valid. They really are no different than us, their jobs are just more public–that’s all. I agree, they don’t need the constant criticism and judgments against them.

Youve got to be kidding me!! These two are photographed ALL the time on their coffee runs and you dont think their publicist leaks their trips to the press? How come you dont see OTHER country stars on their coffee runs or trips to breakfast, lunch and dinner? WHY? Because they dont leak the information out to the media, thats why.
They are fame wh*res, just like the rest of Hollywood. Nicole is playing all country now because it looks good for her image and Keith is using her for her money. Poor Sunday Rose.

They seem to be such nice people. In response to all who slam, it would be interesting to see what kind of complaining you would do if they just stopped doing any publicitiy for their films or albums. Then they would be stuck up and too good for us normal folk huh? You can’t make some people happy at all so you might as well focus on the ones who are important, way to go Keith & Nicole.

It was the Meals on Wheels thing that really turned me on to what kind of lives they are trying to lead. Most regular people aren’t even that generous with their time. What a good role model Nicole is for Sunday Rose.

Those two folks seem so in love and truly genuine. Nashville is a beautiful city with the amenities but yet also country and scenic. They actually live outside of the city like many of the stars do. It will be great when Sunday can ride a horse and play with the animals. I saw Nicole’s movie this weekend and it is one heck of a love story, drama, war story, history piece, in which the acting and scenery is phenomenal.
Keith should be proud of his wife on that one.

Wrong, Claire, Nicole is worth $175 million to $200 million US bucks. Keith nowhere near half that, maybe closer to a third. He’s attached to her for the fame and the lifestyle. Only through Nicole can he get access to her private yacht, the private plane charters, and the private Hollywood parties — all the perks he couldn’t get on his own. He was ALWAYS a man looking to marry well.
He went from Laura Sigler (vet tech) to Nikki Taylor (cover girl/entrepreneur) to Nicole Kidman (Oscar winner/rich divorcee). Not bad for the kid who always got picked on in Caboolture High.
They feed off each other for the publicity. How many times is Nicole going to say how deeply private she is — as she goes into details of her marriage and new baby? Ever see any OTHER celeb couple discuss one another so readily in the press?

As a fan of Keith, having seen his concerts at every opportunity, I am very pleased he has found happiness with Nicole and she with him. They make no secret of their love for each other. Being 38 years old when they married, it is very clear they intend to make this relationship last forever. As for the financial issue, he is playing to sold out shows every night on tour and selling millions of albums. It would appear his present earning potential is as great as hers.

I am really shocked at so many vicious people who have singled out Nicole to bash and to blame for the movie Australia. Most people would not treat a dog the way Nicole has been treated by some websites—there ought to be some type of regulation for internet sites where individuals bash people in the public eye…it is disgusting the way they insult people who have done nothing to deserve it. Ok, I am FINALLY going to get this off of my chest. I am a big music fan; as far as movies go - I have my favs. I am NOT saying this because I am gaga over Keith Urban; yes I love the man, but as a human being and a grown man, he should be allowed to make his own decisions. And we ALL should RESPECT that. But, even LONG before Urban met Ms. Kidman, I did not care for the woman,either. When I was younger, I always thought she was abit aloof and stuck up; of course that is JUST opinion, sometimes us quiet ones are mislabeled as stuck up. As I have said; that is just an opinion that I have of her. Here are the hard facts. As far as her two adopted children (from her previous marriage to T. Cruise) are concerned, I can see no relationship. Sadly it’s as if they remind her of her old life. Why couldn’t they be integrated into her new family in Tennessee? What,they weren’t good enough for her now that she has her own flesh and blood child?!?! She basically abandoned them. And here she goes on and on about adoption - She is too faced. And as for being ULTRA PRIVATE, give me a freakin’ break, she’s only private when it’s convenient for her (that is typical of her - very typical).Ultra private means there is something in a person’s past that they don’t want you to know about. She is fake. All of her - along with her poor nose job and bad lip job - is fake. As for her alliance with unicef - that does NOT qualify her as a certifide angel - far from it!Last, but not least, #3 marriages (yes three - count them)does NOT qualify you as an expert on the subject of marriage; quite the opposite, actually. There was not even a hint of verbal/emotional abuse in her marriage with Mr. Cruise. Although, I do agree that there are a few screws lose in that man’s head. As stated above Ms.Kidman does and says things when it’s convenient for and to her. The greatest PR moment happened when she and Urban came together. But just because one dons on a white dress or tux does not make them faithful. Their is no magical fairy dust @ the alter to change behavior if the heart is still the same, unchanged hot mess it was before the trip down the isle. Once a womanizing player, always a skit-chasing playboy. And once a stupid, shape-shifting, wayward, too faced fake, always a weak, lustful, low self esteemed, selfish, oppertunity profiting woman. Now don’t get me wrong: she is an amazing actress, even if that is the only thing she can get right in this life. As for Keith, he has his own faults. He is a HIGH - risk factor in ANY [romantic] relationship due to his drug and alchohol addictions (once an addict, ALWAYS an addict) and his hedonistic-free-for-all promiscuity (of his past - I hope only his past). I pray they haven’t doomed their two beautiful girls.
