Kid Rock Talks About His Songs on Vh1 Storytellers
The Vh1 Storytellers series gives an artist the chance to talk about the meaning and inspiration for their biggest hits and old favorites alike. On Thanksgiving night (Nov. 27) at 9 p.m. ET, Kid Rock will get his chance on the intimate stage. And if by then you're too full to even prop yourself up to watch TV, you can catch it on CMT on Dec. 8. In this sneak peek video of the event, Kid Rock and his band perform their country hit, "All Summer Long," and give a little insight into its creation and popularity. He says that when you think about it, it's really a song about falling in love for the first time. No matter how many times you fall in and out of love, you always remember the first one in a special way, and listening to this song brings you back to that time.

Kid rock and football… sounds great. So American. I’ll have to FF through the Jonas Bros doing the cowboys/seahawks game halftime and make Kid my thanksgiving musical dessert.
Roll and roller coaster!
RedMaZ says:
These are just not Country blogs, but it seems Kid Rock is a big part of todays Pop Country music scene now.

I can’t believe you played Kid Rock (Storytellers) performing his hits and songs from Rock N Roll Jesus. Why lessen the values that country music artists bring to CMT with such trash and filthy lyrics. I’m very disappointed to say the least. CMT is normally one of my favorite stations, but if it starts shifting to this kind of garbage I won’t continue supporting it.
