Faith Hill Repeats the Sounding Joy This Thanksgiving
If you were not one of the lucky 3,000 or so people that experienced Faith Hill's exclusive performance of her Joy to the World Christmas album, not to worry. Come Thanksgiving week and throughout December, PBS will be showing her full concert with behind-the-scenes video and intimate interviews. With a stunningly decorated stage, a 31-person orchestra and a breathtakingly beautiful Faith dressed in a gold satin gown, it's a show not to be missed.
She performs traditional holiday favorites like "Joy to the World," "Away in a Manger," "O Holy Night" and "Winter Wonderland," as well as "Where Are You Christmas" and her most recent hit, "A Baby Changes Everything." My personal favorite -- "What Child Is This." I've never heard a more remarkable rendition. "I know a lot of Christmas albums are heard in the background," she said between songs, "as mine are during the season. I play them around the house when I'm decorating or cooking or just cleaning or whatever -- but it also has to be one that really stands out." A word of note to the viewers: Put down those dishes and take a seat. You won't want to miss a note from this undeniably standout performance. She is beautiful and her voice is out of this world. I think we should see more of Faith. I love the album. Way to go Faith. She should have been at the CMA awards. I missed her and I could make a list of who I wish would have been there. Brad and Carrie did great! But I want the past singers back.

How is she boring? She has one of the most amazing voices in music period. I was lucky enough to attend the taping & her voice is 10 times better in person which is rare these days with all the voice altering that goes into albums now. The Christmas cd is wonderful!

The CD is so good. Her voice is amazing. She is a beautiful person inside out. And, she don’t need to spice up anything, she got it going on.

If she was boring she would not be appearing like every other day performing on shows, Rockefeller tree lighting, and so many other things coming up.

maybe faith needs to toss her head around and flop her hair, take a shower on stage like someone i know and she won’t be boring. sometimes this overkill of gimmics gets so boring. she can sing and is also pretty, more than i can say about some so called singers.

Ya know, our mommas taught us that if we couldn’t say something nice not to say anything at all for a reason… Faith has a beautiful voice but more importantly Faith has staying power…who knows what will happen in 2 to 5 years but one thing is for certain, Faith (and Tim) will still be active in country music.

I would say that Faith is dull rather than boring.
It doesn’t matter if she has a beautiful voice there’s just no life to her music. I can’t imagine her take on Christmas songs would be any better.
