Where Does Kid Rock Really Like to Rock?
If there were any doubts that Kid Rock was trying to establish himself even more firmly as a Nashville star, this could help assuage those doubts. In Entertainment Weekly's "25 Entertainers of the Year" issue, Kid Rock is pictured chilling at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge on Lower Broadway in Nashville. He is quoted as saying, "The music industry wants to categorize you, and every category wants to own you." That may be true, but I think an artist has some say in how he's labeled. And after a country hit with Sheryl Crow ("Picture") and now another with "All Summer Long," Kid Rock can say that he straddles that genre fence. But it seems obvious to me that this former Detroit rapper feels right at home with everything about Nashville. By the way, check out Kid Rock's live performance of "All Summer Long" from the VH1 Storytellers episode premiering Nov. 27. He shot the show in Nashville.

No Jacob, I’m his #1 fan and maybe even his oldest. Because of my fanaticism, my children and grandchildren are going with me to his concerts and buying his music. You’re the man, Kid Rock. I’m so glad you are now getting the recognition you deserve from all genres. Another thing that impresses me - you can carry on an intelligent conversation when being interviewed!
King says:
These responses are stupid.
Kim says:
Your response to the not stupid responses is stupid.

I have drove thousands of miles over the years to watch him sing. His concerts are worth every cent. He always puts on a fantastic show. I drove a thousand miles in a tropical storm to watch him sing outside in the rain at Pelham Alabama. His show gets better every year.
