Getting to Know the Hollywood Tim McGraw
His fans only know the half of it. But Reese Witherspoon was willing to let the world in on the other half of Tim McGraw. The Hollywood-actor side. Music City TV caught up with Witherspoon while she was in Nashville for the CMAs. And she dished about what it was like working with him on the new movie, Four Christmases. First of all, she refused to sing in front of him. And second of all, she claims McGraw has a good sense of humor. "Tim's a great actor, but he's also really funny. And he got really into the character. Everybody on the set loved him" she said. (Although she also said that he gave everybody guitars, which may be why there was so much on-set love.) The movie, due out next week, features McGraw as an amateur UFC Cage fighter. And that alone is enough to get me to avoid my Thanksgiving preparations for a few hours and go see it the day it comes out.

I am looking forward to the movie, I always like a new fresh Christmas movie. And the main characters are good actors. I heard Tim only plays a small part, with little bit of lines.
But what I don’t get, why would he give out guitars? Those people are already rich. They don’t need his charity, he should give it to people who want to play the guitar that have no money. Thoughtful of him, but very strange.
But I hope the movie is good.

Thanks Tim will be awesome, he has been great so far in his acting. At least he gets cast in movies that actually plays at the theaters unlike some other country artist.
As for the guitars Tim is a nice generous guy if he wants to give a gift to the other people in the movie that is his business.
Tim is a very, very giving guy and gives much to the less fortunate.

I don’t get why Tim was even in a movie. He can’t act much less sing. Tim is truly overrated as a singer and a wannabe actor. Give us all a break from him I beg You!

It is nice of him to give his coworkers guitars. I don’t think he gave out the guitars because his cast mates “needed” them, but as a kindness - I give gifts to people because I care about them. Not for any other reason.

I think when Tim has a GOOD director (like FNL), he’s an awesome performer! He’s said before he likes to take roles that challenge him; big or small. He’s one of the very few country artists I love to listen to, buy their CD’s or attend their concerts! He rocks my world like very few others do or have and has brought me some AMAZING friends, to boot!!
