Rawni and RobRawni and Rob shared their wedding day on CMT's show My Big Redneck Wedding. Read their blog and write your comments.

Hi, I just wanted to share my thoughts on our wedding.

Both Rob and I were fortunate enough to have some of our families and friends make the trip from out of town to join us. My mom from Arizona, my aunt from Pennsylvania, my uncle (who gave me away) also from PA, Rob's sister & brother in law as well as several friends also made the trek from PA. His mom lives here in GA near us. The day of our wedding, we basically 'hung out' walked around the "Summer Redneck Games" in East Dublin GA, enjoying the vendors and games.

Then it was time to get dressed and ready! I never got nervous or stressed (even with 9000 people waiting for the ceremony to begin!) My Uncle Steve and I rode a golf cart through the crowd and arrived at the stage to be greeted by my sweetheart and the wedding party. It really is kind of overwhelming to walk onto a stage with 9000 people staring at you, but WOW, did we have fun!!!
We said the "I Dos," threw the bouquet and garter from the stage, had our first dance (to an original song performed by Lance Stinson, a local musician), THEN, to "seal the deal," we dove into marriage (and a 10' x 10' mud pit!) hand in hand.

After a quick dip in the river (to clean off some of the mud) we headed to the reception (at our hunting camp) showered and ate, cut the cake (a specialty design by our friend Tammy at Custom Confections here in GA) and danced till the wee hours of the morning!

We have plans to go to Vegas sometime in the fall, but no actual honeymoon right now. It was a whirlwind few weeks, but it sure was fun! That leads me to believe the rest of our lives will be as fun and love filled as our wedding day!

Congrats!! If it wasn’t for our families being to conservative and uptight about everything, we’d totally have a redneck wedding too. haha.

anyway, I was just wondering- where did you find the garters?! They’d be perfect for my wedding!

    YES I am the BRIDE!
Thank you all for leaving comments. We really had a great time. To answer a few questions here…
The song …”Ex Wife” was a LANCE STINSON original,He is a local Georgia artist. He does have a new CD available you can contact him through MYSPACE or fo a GOOGLE search.
The ‘BOOBS’ are called “JINGLE JUGS” you can order them online at jinglejugs.com or get them at Spencer gifts (at most malls)
AGAIN, thanks to everyone who was there & those who couldnt be, but were there in spirit by watching!~Rawni

I am not sure if this is the music clip that was mentioned before, and I am not positive it was in your show, but I think it was. (it was a long day of TV watchin’) It was just a short clip of a song. The lyrics bits I can rembember went something like: “I stand at the … drinking cokes” and “my friends drinking beer” and “at the wedding”. Is that a song by Lance Stinson?

    Great wedding and good luck!!
