Sabrena and Blair's Redneck Wedding

Posted: November 3rd, 2008 at 11:34 am  |  By: Kim Sorensen

Sabrena and BlairSabrena and Blair were married on CMT's show My Big Redneck Wedding. They share their thoughts about the big day.

Blair:

Never in my life did I think I would get married again. All I wanted to be is happy. My first marriage almost ruined any chance for me to trust anyone and get married again. When Sabrena first told me she would love me and take care of me for the rest of my life, I had an inside laugh with myself. After four years of watching and learning about her, I decided to keep this woman, because there will never be one like her again. Hard working, honest, and she cares, those are what I'm looking for. Not to mention, she is beautiful and loves hunting, scuba diving, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, she is a great cook, massage therapist, etc, etc. After seeing all kinds of controversy amongst my friends and family, I have weeded out the weaklings, liars, and people who are just plain jealous. We work hard, and are doing great and moving forward in life together. I am so happy to have the good friends and family in my life that I have now. Thank you to everyone who helped make this the best redneck wedding ever. To see more of us Rednecks Gone Wild, go to our website and see how we do it here on Baker Hill in Pensyltucky PA.

 Sabrena:

The wedding was like a fairytale coming true, at 44! As I looked through our pictures, you can see how happy we are, and everyone that was involved with the wedding, either guests, monster truck drivers, the announcer or the actual wedding party. They all had a great time at our special day, and I truly believe this is destiny. We had a very non-traditional wedding, and I am glad. From the fabulous custom made Wild West attire and the Monster Truck Trellis, to the General Lee. We already have been married before, and we know what we want, and don't want, and wanted to have a fun wedding for all. Blair and I met hunting in 2003, and he was a very unhappy person on the inside, always joking on the outside. I made a promise to him that I will love him and take care of him, and make him happy for the rest of our lives. I try to learn by my and others' mistakes and better myself, and family. We have had a lot of good and bad things happen since we have been together in almost 5 years. Now, we try to push any negative out, to keep the positive going. I love Blair, and all our friends and family that are a part of our lives, and thanks to everyone who was a part of this great wedding. Thanks to God!

Hey Blair & Sabrena, We had a great time at the wedding!
You all looked fantastic, the cars , food, monster trucks, cake, beer, an fireworks, everything was absolutely too cool! The dresses Linda made were over the top, Sabrena y ou looked gorgeous in that red dress and Blair’s sound effects are always a favorite of ours! The trucks should have gotten more coverage and I dont know if you realized it but a separate show was going on the track, lol, the four wheeler boys were just down there reacing up a storm and one of them did a great ass over tin cups flip in the air, and he got up and started racing again, thats redneck for you! I particulary liked the hot momma in the tank top and cowboy hat that toasted the “poupons” lol oh ya thats my wife! Anyhow, Thanks for having us and keep in touch!
Congrats, u found your perfect mates in each other and
a long and happy life together we wish you both!

Hello Mike, That gun is a bute huh? It is a Smith & Wesson 460 Mag., that shoots a flame about 2′ long. I guess there is only 300 made in each state, so that one was a limited edition Pennsylvania one of 300. I love target practice and hunting, that’s why I bought that for him out of appreciation for guns and my man. Thanks, Sab

Hello you guys, Great Wedding, We would have liked to see more of everything that you guys did, but I guess between comercials and Tom Arnold, you get what you get. I think by far you both are the best wedding I’ve seen yet, and knowing both of you, I’m sure CMT can do a lot more, mabye at the Cornfield 500, or one of your other crazy parties, hunting or snowmobiling. Those dresses were totally awesome. Your friend, Angel

Hey guys, sorry we missed your wedding but with it being the week after ours, things were soooo crazy. We did catch it on CMT with a few friends and laughed our butts off!! I personally like the “we are #1 in a #2 business” comment! They should have done an 1 hour special on you guys. You look so happy and in love!! Blair should also do a comedy show on the side with all his impressions!
I hope all goes well with you in the future and hope you have a redneck baby soon….. :0)

This is Sabrena, just for the record, there were many days with many cameras and hours of filming in which was a total blast, and awesome. Many guest, family, and stuff we did, didn’t get aired, and you can imagine how you can only fit so much into 21 minutes, and I think they did a great job. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that we both have beautiful daughters, that are both some of the smartest kids I have ever known, that didn’t get recognition, and I would like to let everyone know about them: Blair’s daughter is Samantha, (Sami), that just turned 17, and does very well in school, especially in Global Media. She is very creative, and could have a career in anything she puts her mind to. Cassandra (Cassie), is my little apple, that will soon be 12. You can catch a glimps of her behind us when we cut the cake. She too is a very creative and artistic child. We love you girls! There were so many people and family that were involved with the wedding, and gave us wonderful gifts and such, you are all wonderful. Thank you so much to All our Friends and Family, Sincerely, Sabrena Miller

Hey you two, what a great job you did with this wedding. Actually you do a great job with whatever you do. I loved the jackass. The donkey was cool too!!!!! (ha,ha,ha) I wish you both the most happiness possible. CMT really needs to use more of your functions like the cornfield. They could even do a reality show on you two! I’m so glad that I’ve gotten to know you both and I feel that my life is much fuller with you guys in it. Thanks for everything, including my poopon!!!!

    HEllo Mr and Mrs Miller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A group of us watch your wedding episode over and over whenever it airs. Definitely the best. So much better than those yucky ones or drunken brawls. Your wedding was very nice yet very fun too. Love the dresses. We want to know, are you really going to get pregnant and have a baby together? My wife thinks you are pregnant already. She says you had “the glow” on your wedding day. We just read over the other posts on your blog and we want to know about this bear. Did you two hunt and get a bear? And, we ditto the comment that cmt should do a reality show about you two. We really want to see you both at work at how you get your own race together and of course we want to see the cornfield 500 too! Have you discuseed the idea with CMT? We hope you will answer all of our questions.
    Congratulations!

    Hello Cookie, Boo and gang,
I’m glad you all liked our episode, it was so much fun putting it together, and waiting to see what actually gets aired. Eight out of the eleven dresses were custom made by our neighbor Linda McGurk - Fashions From the Heart, and I let my friends pick their own design and colors, to give them their personal touch, and their guys wore matching kerchiefs. I gave my bridesmaids the matching parasols.
Anyway, we went black bear hunting together last week, which was last Mon-Wed. Blair totally deserved this one, seeing we had record of 4′ of snow for this time of year, and the ravine he pulled it out of was almost straight up and down, about 400′ tall. He called a few of his crew to help drag the 210 lb. beautiful creature to the road, and I was on a large track in a small ravine and the same 4′ of snow, when I had to stop and go get the truck to Blair’s bear. I figure one per family is fine, and lets the others grow for next year. This was all done right down the road from our home. We are getting a full stand up mount, and have lots of bear roast. Now it is deer season, and we hunt as many days as possible, and pass up all the small ones to get the large and legal, and pack the fridge and pass out lots of summer sausage for the holidays.
We would love to be pregnant right now, but I’m not. No glow, just happy and buck-some. Blair does need a mini Blair, and he said if it had happened in the General, his name would be General Blair Miller ha ha.
We do have a very colorful and busy life, and hopefully we can do some type of show in the future for our Cornfield 500, and we are discussing this with CMT for the Redneck Bash series they are wanting to do, wish us luck.
Where do all of you live?
    Sabrena

Yes Sabrena it was truley a great wedding and I am so happy for you and Blair. Robin and I had a lot smaller wedding. Nothing to get televised but the love is there. Wish my parents and his parents would have been a lot more like your parents, just wanting you to be happy, we would have gotten back together after our parents broke us up and your maiden name would have been different. Took us 49 years to get back together and get married. We are truley happy for you and hope no one nterferes with it. That big black bear Blair got is great. Oh, Robin wants to renew our vows next Sept. How about them apples? I read Cassey’s comments and some of the others before I added my comments. Cool friends. Love you MOM

one more thing, although we don’t get the channel your wedding was on. my sister in law had it so we watched it at her house. It was grand but I might be a little predjudice in that you are my daughter. But from what I saw of the other weddings on there yours was more fun and more for everyone else to have fun. If I had ever been able to have a big wedding I would have liked it to be like yours. Everyone had fun and enjoyed it. It was really entertaining and it was a pleasure to watch it, more like a real programmed and directed show on television but I know it was all spontainious and unpredicted. I am so glad I was able to watch it.
    Love you my sweetheart
    your mom
