Keith Anderson Says "C'MON" to CMAs
The title track from Keith Anderson's latest album beckons the world to C'mon! to the CMA Awards during the promo spots on ABC. I hope to God they are asking us to C'mon and watch the awards on TV. Because the cheapest nosebleed seats I could find on Ticketmaster were around $125. Each. So when Anderson sings "C'mon. C'Mon. We been knuckle bustin', back breakin', head achin' all week long," all I can think of is, who can afford to actually go to the Sommet Center? Certainly not the guys in the song, who've been plowin' up a cloud of dust and haulin' hay from dawn till dusk. But still, I'm sure millions will heed Anderson's advice and C'mon to their couches on Nov. 12 at 8p.m. ET for the 42nd annual CMA Awards.

Money Money says:
Those must be the cheap seats because the good ones are over a thousand dollars. Do the artists pay that much or do they get the “discount” Anyway I will be on my couch to, so I can enjoy the whole show for free.
kafan says:
When Keith say’s CMON, I’m going. Don’t matter where, or how much it costs, I would go anywhere with that man.
Leah says:
I won a trip to the CMA awards 2 years ago and sat in the “cheap seats”. Let me tell you, there was so much excitement going on that it felt like you were down there amongst all the artists! It was fun and just to say that I have been there and experienced that is the coolest thing ever! But yes, I think $125 is a bit crazy.
RedMaZ says:
Never heard of Keith Anderson, but if his music is anything like that C’mon thing…I’ll pass.
DB says:
But RedMaZ, he’s sorta from Texas. He played in Dallas for a while before making the move to Nashvegas, so he’s got a little of that red dirt in him that you like so much.
RedMaZ says:
Are you saying he’s a Red Dirt artist who developed a Nashville Rash?
Debby says:
Why they only play the one word over and over? The songs so good all the way through they should give him more to sing than just the title. I love the line about a little bit will get you lit up! For the person who has never heard of Keith Anderson, where have you been? He is huge and sang the hit I still miss you and he wrote that song for Big ‘N Rich called Lost in this moment. Have you heard of those?
RedMaZ says:
I only listen to Pop Music by suggestion. I’ve heard Lost in this moment once. I’m sure I could list artists all day long that you’ve never heard of, then I could say to you…where have YOU been?
lorendasue says:
Seems like a lot of folks have “passed” on tickets. I’ve seen several discount opportunities for tickets, including one on the website of the Nashville newspaper. If there are still tickets left by next week, maybe the CMA should let CMT pass them out on the sidewalk in front of the CMT offices.
MiaT says:
Gosh….If only I could win the lottery. Maybe in the future ticket prices in general will go down across the board.
Oh..I dare to dream

Hey RedMaZ, I had about 4 friends direct me to Keith Anderson’s “I Still Miss You”. I discussed this with one on another board but I found it to be a very strong song, full of hooks and rhymes that makes ‘perfect sense’ when you’ve lost someone, and nothing makes sense, let alone ‘perfect sense’. It’s got just a bit/hint of the anger and frustration that comes with the pain of a loss. I really liked that song and I like the video, too. It is well produced. Then one of my friends said he had recently lost his Mama when he recorded that song and that was it for me. I liked it even more.
If you want, take a listen to “I Still Miss You” and tell me what you think. You, yourself have that special knack for having your opinion and stating it and a pretty good way with words, so I know if you listened to it, I’d get an honest opinion.
Deede Branster says:
Oh i agree about that hint of frustration. You can see it in his face and in his eyes to on the video for “I Still Miss You.” Thats what I love about Keith Anderson is the way he can make you really feel what he’s feeling through his music.
gwl says:
Keith Anderson’s music is real!!!! He has been overlooked at the awards shows! Wonderful song writer!
Cricket on Froggy 104 says:
I saw Keith perform “I Still Miss You” in concert a couple months ago, and he cried during that song. It was incredibly moving. All of his songs are 10x better live than recorded.
Stevie M says:
If thats true Cricket then why isn’t he nominated for anything? I like his music very much but think he should have at least been up for an award if they were going to use his song for the commercials. But maybe they are paying him extra!
Cricket on Froggy 104 says:
“Lost in This Moment” did get a Song of the Year nomination at the ACMs last year….
