Taylor Swift Reveals Abigail the BF
Did you think maybe Taylor Swift had an imaginary best friend? That she was just making up this Abigail person she talks about all the time? Well, she's real. And she shows up, Toll House cookie dough in hand, in this little MySpace video blog Swift put together full of cute clips from her real life, her bus life and her stage life.
Since she's nominated for favorite female country music artist at the American Music Awards, Swift produced this little five-minute video set to Katy Perry's "Hot N Cold" (without some of the nastier lyrics). And not only does the BF Abigail have a role in this mini-movie, but so does Swift's brother Austin. His role is that of annoying brother trying to hack into her iPhone. Then there's Kellie Pickler and her snake, Amos the bass player playing Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, Bucky the guitar tech jamming on a guitar, Grant the electric guitar player ironing his tie, opening band Love and Theft, the guys from Def Leppard, fans chasing the tour bus down the street and lastly, the cat. He plays himself in the segment of the video where Swift is trying to convince him to hang out with her while she's got the day off. Very funny stuff.
But as funny as it is, this production somehow goes beyond comedy. It shows how the Taylor Swifts of the world are different from the country singers who came before them. That she would even take the time to make this kind of Web-only video diary and that she would know a deeper online presence could increase her odds of winning at the November AMAs. It shows that this singer-songwriter has brains to go along with that beauty. And enough friends, family and pets to back her in everything she does.

Ok, wait a minute, no one knew that Abigail was real??? come on, did anyone watch making the video of Picture to burn, she was in it, Abigail was sitting next to Taylor in the Mustang, she was also in the music video “I’m Only Me When i’m with You”, next to Kelly in the kitchen dancing.
As for video on MySpace, I already watched it, interesting, yet sad part with her cat and this from a 29 year old guy (me).

I’m not a big fan of Taylor either (musically), but I hardly think she’s egotistical or arrogant. If you don’t like her fine, but other people do and their taste in music is just as valid as yours.
I think she’s a great role model for the young girls out there today. Thank goodness they are finished with Britney Spears. Unfortunately we lost an entire generation to her over-endulgent, self-center self and peers. I”m glad Taylor exists in the world of entertainment.
I’m not a huge fan of Keith Urban either, but if someone else likes him, more power to them.
