Get Well Soon, Julianne Hough
Only in Hollywood. And only on a reality TV show. After last night's elimination round on Dancing With the Stars, Julianne Hough was taken to a Los Angeles hospital because she had had stomach cramps all day. She didn't pull a Marie Osmond and collapse or anything. But her publicist just said her tummy pain "increased and the doctors thought it was best to have them checked out." Despite her pain, Hough was not the one booted off the show. That would be Toni Braxton, who is probably having some aches and pains of her own today. Cross your fingers that Hough makes a speedy recovery and can get back to singing and dancing ASAP.

I hope that Julianne has a speedy recovery and is able to be back on the dance floor before too long. I really admire her for being so honest about her condition and I think that she is going to help a lot of people.
However in her last blog she wrote that her “management and other people” around her were trying to think of something else that she could say that was wrong with her but that she wanted to be a good role mode and be honest. Good for Julianne - she is showing a lot more maturity than the people around her. However in an interesting twist, that paragraph of her blog has “vanished” and is no longer there. But fortunately someone had copied it and posted it on a message board BEFORE her management (or whoever) decided to censor Julianne’s blog so you can still read what she originally wrote.
This fact that Julianne’s blog has been altered does make me wonder about what else her management is willing to do to deceive her fans? How far are they willing to stretch the truth in order to promote Julianne and sell CDs? I think that if they feel dishonesty is the way to handle Julianne’s future, then she needs to look elsewhere for representation! Honesty is always the best policy and once the fans feel that they can’t trust what you say, your credibility is gone and soon your fanbase will be gone also.
