Faith Hill is Simply Beautiful, Even at the Mall
The other day I found myself venturing around the mall -- not really in search of anything in particular, just meandering and enjoying my Sunday afternoon. As I made my way into the new Burberry store and quickly turned around after realizing I couldn't afford even a baby-sized wallet, I noticed a beautiful woman walking with her daughters. I first noticed how she looked -- not much makeup, her hair pulled back in a ponytail, wearing blue jeans and a button-up shirt.
As I was admiring her simple beauty, I noted how genuinely kind she was to her little girls, answering their questions and calling them "honey." As we passed one another, she smiled and said, "Hello." I too smiled and politely answered back. Wait a minute, was that...? Was she...? Yep. I had just spoken to Faith Hill and I didn't even know it. No wonder she was the one walking into Burberry and I was the one walking out.
When I watch her latest video, "A Baby Changes Everything," it makes me think of that day at the mall. It's her simple beauty that you take note of first. The glitz and glam is nice, but let's be honest, she's beautiful with or without. That day at the mall I didn't even know she was Faith Hill, let alone a country music superstar. All I saw was a kind-hearted woman and compassionate mother. I had always known Faith was talented and exceptionally beautiful, but I now believe her outside matches what's within.

bingo says:
I love faith she very very pretty and has a GREAT VOICE and great videos including this one!! just keep being yourself DO NOT LISTEN TO EVERTHING THAT PEOPLE SAY!!!!!GO FAITH!!!!
CJ says:
I think Faith is absolutely beautiful. Her voice on this song is out of this world. Wow! Love it!
MiaT says:
I have also seen the “real” Faith Hill. I agree with you 100%. She was backstage with her hair in a scruncy, no makeup on. I knew it was her & I have to say, she took my breathe away for a second. She is soooo beautiful. They should never even “glam” her up. She was with the girls and talking with them about staying near her & don’t wander off. She was speaking to them so kind & gently. As I passed her she gave me a smile as I did her. In those moments I was so impressed not for her as being “Faith Hill” but as just a loving mom.
Cayman Country Girl says:
She’s the true example of a STAR, even though she’s never wanted to be considered one. She’s so open about herself and that what makes her even better. There are no airs about her, no phony-ness, nothing but a happy girl who loves her husband, kids and LIFE - and can she ever sing! I can’t wait til SHAPE comes out next month - she’s inspired me to lose weight already just by reading the PEOPLE article on line! She’s ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
BostonPat says:
I’ve been to two pre-party events before concerts and also found her to be very warm and engaging with the audience..funny, relaxed, and when she looks at you, she looks at you, not through you like some people do…I also can’t wait to get my copy of SHAPE. When I saw her on the cover, and I never thought she would pose in a swimsuit, but I’m glad she did, I made a commitment to start a serious exercise and diet program to get back into shape. At 59, I’m not going to look like Faith, but I will certainly feel better…thanks Faith!
Myra Robinson says:
Jamie, boy,do you need glasses. Faith Hill Mcgraw is a beautiful woman inside and out.she looks fantastic in her bikini too.sounds to me like pure jealousy on your part.she does not have big teeth or big ears.and she will never be a HAS BEEN!
Myra Robinson says:
WELL,i have to say Faith has inspired me to do more exercising. I am 63,but i don’t feel it. I use a treadmill a lot and because of Faith I am using it more and eating better. She is my inspiration! thanks Faith.
Christine says:
Jamie must be very bored tonight, you just trashed Tim now you have trashed Faith. Oh my! Man, are you trying to get attention or what. LOL! Well, you jut got it.
Faith really inspires me. I never thought someone could unless I knew that person personally. It shows the connection she has with people. She is a beautiful person inside & out.
She sang this song perfect, couldn’t get any better. It is such beautiful song. She has such a powerful voice. I love the video. I also love her CD.
Whitney, what an amazing story for you to share with us. Thank you. I would have fainted. I also think anybody that have seen or met her are “The lucky ones” LOL! I hope one day I get to see her live. Excellent job Faith!
countryfan11 says:
Christine, you beat me to it. I commented on Jamie’s bashing on Tim too- she must be bored, or jealous. She can only WISH she looks as good as Faith at her age. I think she is very pretty too, but Shania is always going to get my #1 vote. I wish SHE’d put something out soon.
Tim & Faith make a GREAT (and beautiful/handsome) couple & I wish them & their family THE BEST!
Christine says:
Countryfan11: That is pretty awesome we where doing this at the same time. Yeah jealousy always seems to kick in with people with such bad comments. That is good you feel that for Shania, she is great also, I would pick her at #2. LOL! We like the same people and they are great people. I wish Shania all the best with what going on with her life right now. It would be real nice to hear a CD from her also.
countryfan11 says:
Thanks Christine. I really like too many artists to name, only a few I DON’T care for, but I won’t bash them, I’m sure someone loves ‘em. lol I DO like Kellie Pickler tho, saw her in concert in Aug. hope she comes back here. What state do you live in? I live in WA state up in the NW. Shania is whom I would want to portray Eve (as in Adam & Eve) if she were in a Bible story because I see her as one beautiful creation. My son thinks it’s so funny that (straight)women can say that about other women without thinking anything of it. Of course he & my hubby think Shania’s pretty hot too. There are alot of beautiful women in country music, but the great thing is they seem just as beautiful on the INSIDE where it really counts.
Who are some of YOUR fave artists- male & female?
ROSEBUD says:
Jamie, what the heck is the face of PMS. Is it what you look at when you look in the mirror everyday!!!! I’m not normally so harsh but you are a very mean spirited person. It is that type of comment that gives girls and women a complex!!!! You should be ashamed!!!! I think Faith is beautiful!!!! If you don’t fine but don’t be such a jerk about it!!!!
Christine says:
countryfan11: I live on the other side of you, I live in PA. I like all kinds of music, but my favorite country music is, I will just give a few, for woman: Faith, Shania, Martina McBride. For men: Tim, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley. There are so many others though.
I dont think there is anythiny wrong with using the word HOT for another woman, it is natural to use that word today. That doesn’t mean your attracted to them. Beauty is in & out. I am going to respond to comments above now: Our stories are not untrue. If you don’t like the looks of her, then go to another blog and compliment a person that you think has beauty, no need to bash Faith. Your forgetting that if you think beauty is not shown on the outside, it is on the inside. She has proved both. She is an interesting person, you would not have come here to read her article & watch her video if you thought so bad of her. She’s HOT!
ROSEBUD says:
I said it on the Tim blog and I’ll say it here, JEALOUS!!!!
Christine says:
LOL! Everyone has their own opinion, but no need to condem Faith. Just lists the ones you like. Keith Urban is smokin Hot, but that is my order.
So, you don’t like her video? I think she looks good. Come on, she is not homely looking! LOL!
ROSEBUD says:
Okay, I went back to watch the video again to see if I was missing something. NOPE!!!! I saw no evidence of big ears or big teeth. It’s okay to say you don’t like Faith Hill I have no problem with that. It’s when people launch into a personal attack against her or her family where there’s a problem. State your opinion but have some class!!!!
Megan says:
When watching this video, I became bored with the message,if there was one. The choir was a bit too much for this song. She should have had a youth choir instead of an older choir. It took a lot away from this beautiful song. By the way, the way in which Faith portrays herself in this video, laughing and then going from dressed up to dressing totally trashy with a pony tail is just ridiculous.
ROSEBUD says:
It’s crazy the different views people come away with. I thought it was kind of neat she showed herself without make-up. To me it shows she comfortable in her skin. I did think the idea about the youth choir was a good one.
garrett says:
WHO CARES!!!!
faithfan says:
You must or you wouldn’t be on here!
Christine says:
Its funny Rosebud isn’t it. These bashers have no respect for others. And jealousy..wow! I never seen so much of it! I am glad to see you bashers stick with each other, now leave & go to a blog & compliment someone you like.
She looks great. You got to be into her music, etc..come on….you would not be here unless you were interested in her. Anyone would love to meet her. You don’t go searching blogs to disrespect someone, I hope? That is sad if that is what you are doing.
Christine says:
Trashy in her video, oh my gosh! It was awesome how she mixed it up. You bashers are crazy! LOL! I guess you don’t know what trash is. Video is beautiful. We got to see on how she put the video together. You might not like the way it was put together, but don’t attack her like Rosebud said. Awesome job Faith!
ROSEBUD says:
Christine, I think people breeze thru these just to be nasty. I don’t go onto a blog to bash. It’s one thing to state an opinion, it’s another to just rake someone over the coals!!!! I read some where they were even attacking her children and that’s just terrible!!!! It goes back to these people are extremely unhappy!!!
Christine says:
Yeah, they must have low self asteem. You can like you said state your opinion, but don’t have to be so harsh about it. I agree of everything you are saying. They should never ever bring children into this. That is terrible. UGH!
Jeff says:
I guess that what Carrie Underwood fans are thinking about Faith when she mistakenly made unkind and disrespectful remarks about her not winning female vocalist Faith is just jealous she didn’t win over a much younger and more talented young woman, Carrie Underwood!JEALOUSY!!!!
ROSEBUD says:
That’s a matter of opinion. Faith said that she was joking and I totally have no reason to believe otherwise.
Jeff says:
That’s a matter of opinion also. You don’t joke on camera on live televised programs. It’s not like it was on CMT, it was on CBS. Faith should the whole world her poor judgment.
GaryAllanRocks! says:
Faith Hill is a class act…and so are her fans! Just look at the responses to this blog. Not once did you see any of her fans talk trash! It totally amazes me that so many “other” fans find it necessary to do so when someone compliments her! I have met Faith several times and she has ALWAYS been the definition of class! I have NEVER met anyone nicer! And yes, I have met some of the “other” female artists mentioned!!
Jeff says:
Well maybe you should meet someone of the other female artists and you may change you mind about Faith. I have met Shania, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Wynonna Judd and they are all Charming women. I have no desire to meet Faith. She is not worth it. All I know about here is what I read and see with my own eyes and she does not impress me.
countryfan11 says:
Funny how the “fans” hang on to the negative and the artists themselves made peace with it LONG AGO. I do not believe there was anymore to that story than what the media picked up & ran with- that’s what they’re good at. They do NOT care if it is negative, just make people talk. They hit an all time low when the kids are picked on- like schoolyard bullies. There are artists I don’t like, wouldn’t buy their music, would give it away if I received a CD as a gift- but I’d rather focus on the ones I DO like, and whose music I enjoy. btw, I am a Carrie fan, a Pickler fan, a Martina fan, and a host of other female artists- as well as males.
If you ARE a regular blogger, you will note MANY posters come on to just be mean & stir things up. Just ignore them, feel sorry for their pitiful attitudes & be glad you don’t pal around with people that drag YOU & others down with them.
To Bingo, CJ, mia, cayman, boston pat, myra, christine, and rosebud, I appreciate your comments and look forward to more of your POSITIVE blogging. Enjoy your day all!
ROSEBUD says:
Hey countryfan! Again we seem to think the same way. It seems like there are people out there who only want to believe the worst in someone. I watched the footage of the Carrie Underwood thing ALOT, it was clear to me Faith was joking. Of course there are the haters out there who chose not to believe that. Whatever!!!
I love Martina, Sara Evans, Miranda, just to many to name but Faith has a special place with me. I’ve never met her but I would love to. Oh I forgot Dolly!!!!!
ROSEBUD says:
LOL!!!!!
countryfan11 says:
Rosebud, I also love Sara, Miranda, Dolly, JoDee, they all offer their own individual creative nuances to their work and personality and that’s what makes THEM, and their music so REAL. Kellie is the only one I’ve seen in concert, I don’t go to many, but I listen to what people say, watch their interviews on CMT and the other channel, TV, etc. By listening to what others say, I don’t mean the ranters. If they could actually offer an intelligent comment other than to childishly call people names, I may take them more seriously. Nah, some people are just plain mean-spirited.
ROSEBUD says:
Countryfan11, I feel the same way!!!!!
Christine says:
Oh my gosh countryfan11, that is so funny. I wish I can be typing more, but I am at work.
I don’t know why Carrie was brought into this, she has nothing to do with this. And the joke Faith did was 2 years ago…..get over it & get on with your life. All positive people, you are doing such a great job!
GOT TO HAVE FAITH!!!! lol!
countryfan11 says:
I really think the “basher bloggers” should start up their OWN club- but then, what fun would there be in THAT? Their whole agenda is to interrupt what normally would be a GREAT blog and crap on it- pardon my terminology. Ah well, I think since there are probably only a few “authentic” bashers that aren’t changing their names to make it look worse than it is, we positives have them out-numbered and they are not happy. I think they need to go see a cardiologist for a (new) heart transplant. Life is too short to be that angry.
Christine says:
You are funny the way you word things. They should have a blog of their own. I guess it was the way I was raised I could never talk like these bashers. Maybe we should not respond to them anymore and just get on with our conversations about the topic of this blog. I thought everyone had some beauty in them, but I don’t know anymore after reading this stuff on here. I know these people don’t.
Anyways, I was never to a Faith concert & I would love to go to one. I haven’t been to a concert in a long time. I can’t imagine being face to face in the same room with her. I probably wouldn’t be able to speak. BostonPat was able to see her in the same room, that is so special. Have you ever been to a Faith concert?
countryfan11 says:
No, I rarely go to concerts, I just blast my CD’s in the car with the windows down so EVERYone close by can hear. lol I went to see Kellie P in Aug- first concert I’d been to in YEARS. My hubby & I both love her and seeing her in person just made us love her more. Years ago, I saw Brooks & Dunn, and Kenny Rogers at a fair. Kenny was great fun, he would pick a guy out of the crowd and tell him he would pay him $$ for every hit of his he could name, and the poor guy was so flustered, he was doing good to name just one. The crowd was laughing & having a good time. I watch GAC alot for videos. If $ were no object there would be many artists I would like to see though.
Christine says:
Yeah, money is a big object today! It’s terrible. That sounds funny what Kenny Rogers did! Tim McGraw and other good artists use to come to our one fair (small) a long time ago, but they don’t come anymore. I never seen him, but alot of people I know did. Sometimes when the artists get very popular they move on. Now we only get beginners at the one fair here. Ou Still isn’t cheap, but would save on gas. Our arena here is also too small for a big artist. I got to travel to NY or Philadelphia for a concert.
