Jessica Simpson Wants to Be Back in Nashville
There's a certain sweet refuge in Nashville, especially for celebrities. And even more so for celebs who would otherwise be mauled by paparazzi after a simple dinner out with a girlfriend in West Hollywood. In this clip from E! Online, Jessica Simpson's usually cheerful demeanor is replaced with exasperation, and rightfully so. She looks downright fed up with the sea of zoom lenses that are making it physically impossible to just walk to her car. When she finally does, she looks back at the photographers and says, "Take me back to Nashville." Amen, Jessica.

I watched the clip and I think its pretty funny how she fixed
her hair before she came out. Why didn’t she leave out a back exit like others do? Anyone who has followed Jessica Simpson knows that she informs the media where she’ll be. The girl loves the attention. And, what a great way for her to get in the good graces of country fans by saying how she wants to come back to Nashville. If she really loved Nashville that much, she would move there. Not spend a few days.

Uh, no. not texas. she left Texas for Hollywood. look at miranda lambert, Chris Cagle, George Strait, The randy rodgers band, pat green. Nothing like her. she’s hollywood as can be. and BTW, Nashville is closer to Hollywood than Texas. None of our cities are “entertainment” cities. Nashville is.

Jessica Simpson will be opening shows for Rascal Flatts when the trio continues its Bob That Head tour in 2009.

She doesn’t look “fed up”, she looks drunk. If she really wanted a quiet dinner, maybe she shouldn’t have chosen a Hollywood hotspot.

I think Jessica is capable of being a good singer, but for some reason she changes her voice and moves her mouth around in so many weird positions that it ruins the song. If she would just stop trying to over-do everything and just sing the song i think she can sound pretty good.

I can only hope that going tour with Rascal Flatts will help her. I have nothing against her, and I want everyone to do what they want to do, but she sure doesn’t seem to be helping her case any. between the hollywood hotspots, the tabloid nonsense et al.
I agree with ROSEBUD, who cares that she seemed drunk (as long as its not habit forming)? going on tour with the rascals helped Taylor swift a lot with her presence (although not her voice so much and some people say her ego, but that’s another discussion) maybe it will help her too.
