Australian Waters Help Nicole Kidman Conceive

Posted: September 24th, 2008 at 3:07 pm  |  By: Alison Bonaguro

Nicole Kidman and Keith UrbanWho needs Clomid? Nicole Kidman has found the secret to getting pregnant the all-natural way, without all the crazy side effects of drugs: just go swimming in the Australian Outback waterfalls. Mrs. Keith Urban told Australian Women's Weekly that there is something in that Kununurra water. Kidman swam in those now aptly named "fertility waters" when she was there to film Australia. So did six other women. And guess what. All seven women got pregnant. If only we could bottle that water and bring some back here to the States.

I have read the response Nicole gave in the interview. She was clearly saying it in a tongue-in-cheek way. The real ‘fruitcakes’ are the media, who seemed to have completely lost their sense of humour.

As for me, I’d like to think that the Aussie outback waterfalls must be so beautiful and enchanting that Mr. and Mrs. Urban had a few romantic swims there … ergo Sunday Rose!

Alison, rather than you trying to make a fool out of Nicole Kidman, it might be a good idea to not make one out of yourself. If someone comes up to you and says, I was in Oz with a few of my friends and all of us got pregnant, what will you say? I know what I will say, “there is something in the water” and that was exactly what Kidman said, if you all are going to take her word literally then who is the fool or as Alison posted, a fruitcake?

Are we now incapable of recognising a joke that we take everything spoken by celebs literally. You’ve never heard of a tongue being firmly planted in cheek? I have. Nice to see someone with a sense of humour. Considering that 7 women on the same film got pregnant around the same time then there definitely was something in the water!

Instead of bottling the water, I’d like some bottled Keith Urban!! lol! I love Keith and Nic together and so glad they were able to have a baby! If six women got pregnant at about the same time, then you would wonder if something was in the water. That’s what my office said when several women in our building came up pregnant at about the same time and we were warned to stay away from the water fountain! lol!! Too funny!

Alison, in regards to the “fruitcake” comment … you must have her confused with her ex-husband. Sorry … but he’s a nut job. @@

HELLO! They say that women who spend alot of time together tend to fall into the same cycle. Pheromes or something. So they were all fertile at the same time. Doesn’t take a scientist to figure that one out.

Maybe it was the water that encouraged the little tadpoles to swim upstream and implant. I think Nicole was just being funny & coy and dipquacks that can’t take humor didn’t get it.
