Darryl Worley Is on the Run
Is it too late for me to hop on a plane for Savannah, Tenn.? I wish I could, because that's where Darryl Worley's big ol' Tennessee River Run is underway. Saturday's (Sept. 13) concert will have Restless Heart, Keith Anderson and Worley. Not to mention all the items up for auction, like the handwritten lyrics to Little Big Town's "Boondocks," tickets to an upcoming Carrie Underwood concert in Nashville and a bunch of sports memorabilia. Every penny Worley raises goes to good causes for the folks in Hardin and McNairy counties in West Tennessee.

Way to go Darryl Worley and all the stars who donated and participated to raise money this way. I wish I was there too! What a great concert and I absolutely love Darryl’s new “Tequila on Ice” It is OH-h-h so nice!

It was a FANTASTIC show from start to finish. His family, including the wife and baby (who wore big ole headphones to protect her ears) and his parents, plus cousing Michael (who’s back from Iraq and opened the show by playing taps) were there taking it all in. Props to Keith Anderson and Restless Heart for putting on a rockin’ show as well!

Ran into Darryl on Saturday while filling up motorcycle for the Poker Run. Didn’t know who he was…. I thought he was just another biker filling yup his bike for the ride. And he was on that new bike. WOW. Down to earth guy. He has my respect. If in Hattiesburg Darryl…. come on over to Camp Shelby. Just make sure you have your helmet on…. Base regulations LOL
