"Hello" World - Meet Julianne Hough
You must be living under a rock if you haven't heard of Julianne Hough, the two-time Dancing With the Stars champion, Emmy-nominated choreographer and, now, successful country music artist. This talented 19-year-old has traveled from London to L.A. to Nashville to pursue her dreams. And I must say, it's most certainly paid off. Enjoy this exclusive Unplugged at Studio 330 performance as she does one of her sassy and carefree numbers (and my personal favorite), "Hello." She even busts out a few dance moves while she's at it.

I like this much better than “Song in my Head,” which was pleasant, I guess, but a little too bubble-gum for more than a couple of listens. I definitely need to watch this whole show, because based on this song, this girl may be the real deal. I very much appreciate her expressive, but restrained vocals.

i no her, and she is the sweetest person ever!! she is just starting out & i think she will be huge. julianne has the whole package! she is gorgeous, sings amazing, has the body that every girl in America wants, is the nicest person, and she can dance. love this girl to death and i hope for the best!!
also, she is dating chuck wicks… hes a hottie!! nice choice Julianne!!

Julianne Hough really is one of the most of the amazing young, talented country artists I’ve ever been introduced to. Sh has such an amzing voice for such a young person .I wouuld love seeing her perform live. Like, JulianneFan said, she really is a whole package with her looks and her talents. “pop country fluff direct off the Nashville assembly line”? didn’t you think that maybe that would be offensive to some people? julianne is super talented, what is fluffy about this song? btw: she didn’t write the songs on this album because of time limits and her dance career, but she’s going to be writing on the next one.
oh and I’m amazed by this! Julianne is really improving very fast! she sounds as good as the track on this performance! soon her singing skills may get close to her dancing skills.

Hello..are you listenin’??..Julianne please, please, please lose that fake country accent. That is so annoying to people that actually have a southern accent. I agree that this is fluff. Julianne is a beautiful girl and an amazing dancer but this is not that great. I hate to say it but her voice to me sounds like a cartoon character or a Muppet.

I just wanted to pop back in, having gone to watch the Studio 330 videos. First, I have to agree with Whitney that “Hello” was my favorite, as well. I was impressed with her singing - no, she does not have the vocal power of say, a Martina McBride, but she has an unforced sincerity and no real flaws.
I was impressed enough to go to her web site and listen to all the cuts from her album. I have to say, I don’t think the song choices are great, and it looks like her next single is going to be another of the bubblegum variety. The album cut of “Hello” might have been a better choice, especially in the wake of “Song in My Head,” to showcase a small amount of versatility.
I was not overly impressed with the album, but this is a singer I would like to see mature.
