Skulls, Crossbones and Carrie Underwood
She may not even know her last name, and she may take a Louisville Slugger to a souped-up four-wheel drive. So is it any wonder Carrie Underwood's messenger bag is sending quite a don't-mess-with-me message? She was carrying it when she left NYC after her Fashion Rocks performance. The hip take on the skull and crossbones image on her bag is just what her casual outfit needs to show she's got a little poison in her.

nothing wrong with a little poison because with her position in her career she never knows if someone really wants to be friends or dating friends or if they just want something from her like (advancement in their career, etc.)
no all kidding around it is the soroity symbol but if I was in Carries shoes I wouldn’t take no gruff over anyone either!! Like this deal with Jessica all media hyped up because Carrie wouldn’t ever catfight over any man when she could have any man she wants!! Just a way to sell magazines and advance Jessicas career!

I can tell you all 100% that the skull and crossbones Carrie frequently sports is related to Tri Sigma. I am a Sigma and we all love to sport that symbol because it symbolizes our dedication to the sorority forever. If you go on the national website or local chapter websites it will tell you the same thing. There is a skull and crossbones on our badge as well. As much as some want to believe, it has nothing to do with Jessica nor a sign to back off.

No one is blaming Carrie for anything. I doubt she knows about the symbols and what they really stand for. But there are many in the industry that do and they promote the symbol showing everyone there allegiance to those organizations which goes a lot further then some fraternity.
But soon people will have a better understanding on whats really happening in the world!

I love Carrie and just to prove she is just the down home girl. You can go into your local Target store and purchase one just the same. Carrie is as sweet and down to earth as they come. Carrie Underwood is the best thing that has happened to country music. Her strenghts in her beliefs and her moral values speak for themselves. In comparision ( there really is no comparision ) to Jessica Simpson, Carrie Underwood is not only significantly more talented but she has a whole lot more pretty inside and out the Jessica ever will. Jessica should be thankful that Carrie Underwood is not looking to be more than friends with Romo. I believe that if Romo had the chance to have Carrie forever Jessica would quickly be history. Second, Toniez7. It’s a sorority, not a fraternity. Fraternities are men’s oraganizations. If you are not a part of a Greek organization please do not say things about it. You do not understand what they are about and not about. Carrie DOES understand what the skull and crossbones are based on what she knows and what’s important to her. She is still very true to her sisters if you watch the video for “All American Girl” you will see her in her Sigma Sigma Sigma letters.
