Taylor Swift + Kellie Pickler + Julianne Hough = Taylieanne?
Here's what happens when you put three of the hottest country artists in a boat and take photos of them. They laugh and we smile. This video from People.com of Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler and Julianne Hough shows how close the trio has become. They're on a lake for a photo shoot, but it ends up looking like they're just hanging out. They finish each other's sentences, play little jokes and seem to really enjoy spending time together. At one point, they're all wearing similar outfits and almost look like sisters. Maybe it's time for a good celebrity nickname. You'll get more chances to catch the three friends when they host ABC's CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock on Monday (Sept. 8) at 9 p.m. ET.

Taylor is not fake she is the total opposite. She is so real, greatful, and relatable.She is like a normal eighteen year old plus the fame, and her being normal is what makes her so relatable. This real factor Taylor has is what brought many of her fans to her music. Taylor is the type of person you can just walk up to and strike up a conversation with. She is the type of person who would have been your best friend in school.

Carrie Underwood is by far the best female artist right now and will be in 5, 10 years down the road. She is ridiculously talented, extremely pretty and talk about down to earth. I’ve saw Kellie & Taylor with Brad Paisley in ‘07 and Kellie was Great & I’ve seen her two times since then & seeing her again in October with Sugarland. I’m also probably going to see Julianne in February about 30 min. or so from me (I just Saw James Otto there)! As for all of you Carrie fans, I agree Carrie has a powerhouse voice, but for a while I was getting tired of hearing all about her. I think “Just A Dream” & “Wasted” are probably her 2 best singles. Other song’s I like that I like of Carrie’s are Randy Travis’(whom I LOVE) “I Told You So”, “The Night Before (Life Goes On)”, and “I Know You Won’t. Unfortunately for you Taylor fans, I cannot say I have a favorite Taylor song, but I think “Teardrops On My Guitar” has some great lyrics in it, But I don’t think they should have remixed it for Pop radio. I guess as someone else said that Pop appeals more to teens… That’s probably why she’s dating a Jonas Brother…

A couple of things about Taylor. She has good songs and she sounds good on her CD, but she does not sing on key when she is singing live. I would love to hear what Simon Cowell would say about her being out of tune.

i agree that taylor is not so good live, but i do still like her. being a teenage girl i relate to almost all of her songs and what is wrong if the audience she is appealing to is teens? i dont see the wrong there. Well, having read your comments, I don’t feel so bad in questioning Miss Swift’s talent. I have been in the music business on a local scale for 30 years, and am constantly amazed at what people mistake for as true vocal ability. I was raised up in a time when you had to actually have talent vocally to be famous. I now we have to evolve, but my goodness, just because you are gorgeous or a hunk doesn’t make you a great singer. As far as the age thing, remember it wasn’t too long ago we were totally amazed at a young girl by the name of Leeann Rimes. She has one of the greatest voices that ever graced a stage. It is just a shme that we have forgotten the true pioneers of Country music, at least some of us.

I love Kellie, saw her in concert in Aug. She’s great- cute, funny, very endearing, and I really don’t care if she has a bit of “hick” in her. You could say the same for a few others. I like Julianne’s song. I’m undecided on Taylor, but know for sure she CAN’T sing LIVE. The gimmick she used at the award show was childish and didn’t add much to her vocals.I mute it when it comes on. I’m sure as Taylor grows up, so will her material, hopefully her vocals will too, although she sounds fine on radio.

Taylor paid her dues at a very young age, going to Nashville studios to write since she was 14 or so. I’m not a teenager (in my 40’s) and I have liked her from Day 1. The difference in her recorded voice and live voice has nothing to do with nerves. It has everything to do with studio enhancement. In other words, her vocal flaws are “fixed” for the cd. I’ve seen her in concert and she’s really bad. No bashing intended, but just calling it like I see it. She needs to stick to writing and let the good vocalists who don’t need studio enhancement sing her songs, because she is dreadful with it.

Hey Luv, she can’t sing. If you listened to her last night and then listened to everyone else and though she sounded good, then you obviously don’t have much of an ear for music. Yes she writes and performs but the sales you mentioned can be compared to Miley Cyrus and High School Musical sales…and the sales led to the awards, it sure wasn’t her voice….and I’ve been a musician for over 30 years and have worked with vocalists who could blow her out of the water. She has a one octave range, uncontrolled breath, no vibrato, sings from the throat instead of the diaphragm and her tone is like a high school kid in chorus.

Taylor can’t sing, and her performance last night showed just how unpolished and horrible she is. She didn’t have her guitar to hide behind. Joe is correct. Taylor did not grow up on a horse farm in PA. She grew up in a mansion in Wyomissing, PA, Berks County. There are no farms in Wyomissing, PA. She CANNOT sing, but does have the charisma which has attracted teens and younger kids who aspire to be like her. She will definately fade. I saw Taylor and Kellie in concert last year with Brad Paisley. I thought Kellie was great but I liked her when she was on IDOL. Taylor was OK but she also wasn’t running around on stage, she basically stayed in one place. I love her album, but after what 2 years of milking a single album, it gets old. I do agree though, it seems like now Taylor “LIVE” is more interested in what she is doing on stage than how she sounds. I think if she sings her songs the way she wrote them and stops trying to exaggerate every note, her live shows would begin to sound better. But that’s just my opinion.

#6-yes taylor’s songs are getting wore out, but im sure if she could have had another CD out by now she would. its probly the record company and all the big dogs in the music industry taking their time to make the next one a good one.
#7-I think all 3 girls and carrie are wonderful, in different ways. they are all pretty, and some sing better live than others, some have better stage performance, and some have their other talents. YOU ARE COMPARING APPLES AND ORANGES PPL!! you are not looking at the big picture. you are comparing a live performance to the radio..
#8-There is plenty of room in country music for the new singers and the older singer. that way there is a type of music for everyone. personally, i like them all. i cant really think of one country singer that i actually hate.
#9-so what if taylor is fan voted? that just goes to show how many ppl like her and dont care that her live performances are not so good. whether the record ppl or fans make her so famous and popular, she is still loved enough to be as successful as she is.

I knew Taylor when she lived in Wyomissing PA. I also know her music teacher Ronnie because I used to take guitar lessons from him. She still plays the way that he taught her. In fact, he still has the original 12 string guitar (An Ovation) that she once owned because he sold it to her dad and he then gave it back to Ronnie when she got endorsed by Taylor guitars. Ronnie is one of the best music teachers I have ever met. It is no wonder that she is so famous now. He also taught her how to write.
btw..It doesn’t hurt to be drop dead beautiful (and rich) as she is. Thats not a knock, she has worked very hard to get where she is.

I’m sure the big standing ovation Kellie Pickler received from all of the biggest country stars in the 2007 CMA Awards audience was fan voted too? No, one of the 3 CMT Music Awards Kellie won is for LIVE performing. She won Performance of the Year because she delivered the best live TV performance of the entire year in country music. Even Entertainer of the Year winner Kenny Chesney said it was the best, and many country music fans voted for Kellie because they know she’s one of the best. Sometimes fans get it more right than the industry and this was definitely one of those times. Kellie has also been nominated for and deserves to win industry voted awards.
Mark my words, Kellie’s sophomore album will be one of the best released this year and her concerts rock!!!! Great live singer!!!

I am from Reading PA and knew Taylor Swift’s family. She grew up on a small horse farm on Freemansville Road, not “Wyomissing, PA” like her bio insists. She moved to Wyomissing later on, right before she moved to Nashville. Trust me - there are NO horse farms in Wyomissing. It’s filled with big, expensive homes and mansions. Her house had an elevator in it, for christ’s sake. I’m sure they stated she lived in Wyomissing her whole life because it sounds more “country” (ala like “Wyoming”).
