Faith Hill Changes Everything
Faith Hill's new song, "A Baby Changes Everything," starts out a little bit like Kenny Chesney 's "There Goes My Life." Pregnant teenage girl, no ring on her finger, blah blah blah. But then, in typical Hill fashion, it morphs into something completely different when the backing choir comes in: It becomes a song about the birth of Jesus Christ. Hill's a mom, so she sings that hook as convincingly as the Virgin Mary would. It's the only new track on her upcoming holiday album and was written by Craig Wiseman and Tim Nichols, two pros you'd expect to turn a song into something so unexpected.

Faith is a great talent and unlike many other celebs today, carries herself in a classy, down to earth way. She has a polished and powerful voice that puts her in a class all of her own. I hope she doesn’t listen to the crap put out there to bring her down for no reason. If Faith isn’t your taste in music, that’s fine, but don’t bash her, there is a reason Faith is one of the best selling female country artists. Faith, the whole album is just wonderful. I am playing it everyday and it does give me the warm feelings we get at Christmas. “A Baby Changes Everything” is so beautiful and a song that gives us the opportunity to really enjoy the fullness and the tender part of Faith’s voice.
I am sure this album will be one of the top Christmas albums being played this Christmas and maybe the
TOP one.

people who dont understand the meaning of the song have never had a personal relationship with the baby she sings about. How can someone understand Christmas until they have been to the manger and how can they understand Easter till they have knelt at the cross and seen the empty tomb and how can they have hope of heaven till they have asked him into their heart. This song is a super, powerful Christian witness. It is my prayer these lyrics will touch the heart strings of many people, young and old, all over the world and because of the message it sends, I hope that men and women, boys and girls, will have a real understanding that a baby came years ago, grew into manhood, and gave His life of a cross for the sins of all. Had this baby not come, our lives would never be changed. I don’t own any Faith Hill CDs. I enjoy most of her music, but I don’t know how someone can hear this song and not be moved by it. Every time I hear it, it makes me cry. I am 46 years old and I was just baptized a few years ago, so the lyrics have special meaning for me because the birth of Christ did change everything for me! And to think of Mary in those days, how she must have felt being unwed and pregnant. Amazing song and I think Faith sings it beautifully and with such emotion. Especially this time of year, what a wonderful song to make us stop and think of the real reason for the season!

Saw the Joy to the World special on PBS Dec 19, 2008. Did not know much about Ms. Hill other than the Sunday night NFL song. Her music and speaking out for her savior on this special comes across as sincere, moving and strong. Wonderful job Faith Hill.

i love this song because im havin a baby. its crazy how a baby does change alot of things because you really dont know what is going to happen until it here. but i have a ring on my hand and im with the dad of the baby so ya im not really on my own but i could if i wanted to be but ya i love this song its really powerful. listening to this song makes me wants to cry but its so touching that you got to love it. but you really ahve to listen to the word and understand the meaning of it.
