Trailer Choir Hits Virginia Beach, Philly and Boston
Hey, y'all! It's the Trailer Choir here. We have had a busy weekend in the Northeast! We started out in Virginia Beach. We had a really great day, with absolutely beautiful weather. We had an on-air interview with our friends at 97.3 The Eagle and then we were ready to perform for our acoustic backstage pre-show with Toby Keith. We took the stage after our labelmates Mica Roberts and Carter's Chord around 7:30 p.m. We performed and got a standing ovation! And we couldn't be happier!
We took off from there to Camden, N.J. (Philly is right across the river from Camden.) It was a beautiful day in Camden. We enjoyed seeing the river and Shug took a tour of the Battleship USS New Jersey Berthed, which sits directly outside of the venue. That night, after a very fun performance, we got to indulge in the city's finest CHEESESTEAKS! Crystal even had one and Vinny cleared off at least three!
The next day we took off to Boston. Or for the locals, Bas-tan! (Crystal LOVES a great Bas-tan accent!) We went to sign CDs and take pictures after Montgomery Gentry performed and had a record night. We sold more CDs than we ever have in a 30-minute time period and we had our longest autograph line yet! Thanks, Boston! We had a great time and hung out after the show with professional wrestler Brutus the Barber Beefcake.
We had a couple of days off right outside of NYC! We had dinner with our manager in Little Italy and saw Times Square for the first time! After playing a club show in Blasdell, N.Y., we are off to the Crawford County Fair in Meadville, Pa., with the Big Dog Toby Keith again! Holla! -TC
