The Camera Doesn't Lie in Jimmy Wayne's Video

Posted: August 21st, 2008 at 12:31 pm  |  By: Craig Shelburne

I liked Jimmy Wayne's new video, "Do You Believe Me Now," the instant I saw it, because ... well, not to get into all the details, but my summer kind of played out this way, and yes, I saw it coming. I think this scenario -- that "friend" who wants just a little bit more -- is pretty common. But should you say something? And if the other person dismisses it, and it turns out to be true, do you have a right to say, "I knew it!" (Or in this case, "Do you believe me now?") One lingering question, though: When they're kissing on the bed at the end, exactly what kind of video are they about to make?

Ew. I like picturing Jimmy Wayne as a god-fearing man who loves us this much, and not a kissy face video kind of guy.
