More Ink for Keith Urban
Keith Urban has unveiled another addition to his family: a tattoo on his left right arm. It says "Nicole." There are plenty of people out there who turn up their collective noses at inking, citing out-of-date statistics on hepatitis risks and potential years of regret. I happen to think it's an art form. And because of its permanence, a spousal tattoo is kind of a slap in the face to all those celeb marriages built on pre-nups. I just hope Nicole will consider a "Keith" tat someday soon.

As other commenters have pointed out, this tattoo is not new. The “Nicole” tattoo was a Christmas present from Nic to Keith I believe in 06.

So Alison, if tattoos are an acceptable “art form” in your opinion, how many do you have and what will you say when your kids are teenagers and want one? I consider tattoos to be “body graffiti” but I’m an uncool old codger…..

I left a comment at the first article that came out that said it was a new tatoo. I told them it wasn’t new and they are so crass they they won’t publish my comment. The tabloids are so desperate for a story they will do anything to make everyone “click”!

I for one “LOVE” the tat! I have my husband’s name on me and he got my name on his arm( god bless him, he hates needles). I also have my favorite Tim McGraw song & a “few” more milestone tats. They mean the world to me. I am not an artist and I don’t collect art but for me they are my “ART” collection. I love looking & asking peeps about their tats. They always have a story behind them. BTW… Tim McGraw has some beautiful ones on him.

I personally don’t have a problem putting keith’s name on me…. especially since he signed me. I have a keith siggy he did in Nov 2007 in Detroit… I wear it proudly. I think Nicole should do what Nicole wants…. maybe Keith doesn’t want her putting a tattoo on her skin… some guys just don’t think it is sexy on a woman…. Well, anyway I love my tattoo and very glad I got it to support keith’s music.
