Jamey Johnson Exposes Heartbreak and Mistakes
We all get overwhelmed, bogged down, by life's little details and more often than not forget to enjoy the moment while we're too busy focusing on what's wrong in our life or what needs to be fixed. I think we're all guilty of it. It's so easy for life to become "Just an ol' routine/Every day the same damn thing." It's nice to know I'm not alone on this one. Jamey Johnson has felt this way, too.
Though he sings of turning to drugs and alcohol to escape life's problems in "High Cost Living," anyone can relate to his feelings -- the monotony of each day running together until you can't quite tell them apart. He has this ability to completely engage a listener, make them experience his particular state of mind through song. "Crazy was becoming my new norm/I'd pass out on the bedroom floor/And sleep right through the calm before the storm." This line gives me chills every time.
Escape into his world as he takes you through heartbreak and mistake and maybe even reminds you of your own in this exclusive Unplugged at Studio 330 performance.

The two albums are great. The last one is probably the best country album last year AND this year (it was originally released digitally last year). When is he going to tour New York City? I’ll be there.
