Elvis PresleyIf you're a fan of Elvis Presley - and I bet you are - be sure to tune in to CMT tonight for the premiere of Elvis: Viva Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The show offers rare performance footage and interviews with his friends. Also in the special, Faith Hill remembers the King's gospel side with her rendition of "Peace in the Valley," while Toby Keith and Aerosmith's Joe Perry get all shook up on "Mystery Train."

Commemorating the anniversary of his death (on Aug. 16, 1977), Elvis Week continues on CMT with exclusive coverage from Elvis Week 2008 events in Memphis, Tenn., on Top 20 Countdown and CMT Insider. Wrapping up the week, CMT will air Jailhouse Rock on Saturday (Aug. 16) at 3:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET/PT.

I’d love to hear country covers of his songs sometimes.

Enjoyed the Elvis-Viva Las Vegas show. I thought it was great seeing the entertainers sing his songs and remember him. He was the greatest. I saw him in concert 5 times and he loved his fans.
