Darius Rucker Looks Right at Home With New Video
Darius Rucker is one of the new faces on CMT, but since he's also the lead singer for Hootie & the Blowfish, he's no stranger to putting his best foot forward. I sat down with him the other day to talk about the video for "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" and how important the first video is for an artist. He thinks this one has what it takes, saying "This is the perfect way to introduce me to CMT." I'd have to agree with that. It's got a very warm and reflective feeling going on that lends itself nicely to the song and some beautiful, open field scenery that Darius said he was surprised to find just outside of Los Angeles. "I showed it to my wife and she's like ‘Y'all were in L.A.?' It's unbelievable."
