Loretta Lynn Fans Stand by Their Woman

Posted: August 4th, 2008 at 2:09 pm  |  By: Alison Bonaguro

Loretta LynnThe New York Times reported today (Aug. 4) that at Loretta Lynn’s recent show in New Jersey, she was frail and had little stamina. But with the support and encouragement from her very loyal, very adoring fans, Lynn, 73, did most of her entertaining from the comfort of a chair. Knowing that growing older and the pain from back surgery won’t stop her from touring — and that her fans will stand by her no matter what — makes me love country music even more.

I dont know where this reporter comes off with this garbage. Who cares if she sits. For a woman her age, a young and beautiful 73!!, I applaud her for all she has been thru and what she continues to give her fans. That woman has more talent in pinky than any other artist has in there body today. I’ve seen her more than 100 times, several times this year and she keeps on getting better!! You go LORETTA!! you are the QUEEN of COUNTRY! I’ll watch you sitting or standing! You ROCK!! love always you #1 fan.

It was a good way to get and That woman view. Not in her age. I hope That woman’s not that vengeful.

I’ve seen Loretta on tour since I was 8 years old (I’m 43 now). The truth is I continue to see her shows just to be close to an old friend again. Sitting or standing, she’s pure, raw talent and living history. We all love Loretta.

As long as LORETTA LYNN is alive, there is no other female
C&W artist who can touch her!

I made that comment to another female C&W artist in 1970!
    I still feel the same!

    LOVE YOU, LORETTA LYNN
