Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman Greet Daughter Sunday on a Monday
He's got the ones he loves beside him. His troubles are behind him. He's alive and he's free. And now he and wife Nicole Kidman have a baby girl. So seriously, who wouldn't want to be Keith Urban this morning?
Sunday Rose Kidman Urban was born Monday morning (July 7) at a Nashville hospital, and I'm sure Urban and his wife are basking in all of her newborn-ness. The smell of her soft fuzzy little head, the size of her tiny bottom and the soft wail of her innocent little cry.
I'm sure they are marveling at all 6 pounds, 7 ounces of her.
And this is exactly the time to do so. Sunday's blessings will never be more pure than they are in these hours after coming into this world. Because there may very well come those days when she's teething for hours on end, pooping all over her new dress and getting her days and nights mixed up. And then there will be the days when that little bundle of joy has turned into a bundle of energy. And then those years when she starts rolling her eyes at everything Kidman says, and starts texting her friends that her dad is so totally uncool.
But through it all, I'm guessing Urban will be able to maintain his "glass-is-half-full" optimism and will be able to see the good in everything. And that he'll always remember the joy he felt on the Monday that Sunday arrived.

I am so thrilled for them. Nicole said the difference between the marriage with Keith and Tom was the tenderness that Keith treated her. I can only imagine how much of a princess he has to go with his queen in the way he adores them. They are so lucky to have them.. I saw him in concert in Lexington, Ky. and it his his last concert of his 107 city tour and he couldn’t hold back the tears of the fans and how much he appreciates the gifts in his life. He said the song “once in a lifetime” was taken from a conversation that him and Nicole had. In the song he says the second one is a boy. I’m sure they won’t wait long for a second child now that Nicole is 41. It’s best to have them close together. Mine are 7 years apart, 2 boys, and what I wouldn’t give for them to have been 2 years apart, they’re 15, and 23. One is married and the other is at that stage that can drive you crazy, but the older one is an R.N.who helps with him, sometimes he’s the only one he’ll listen to. I wish them much happiness.

And just to confirm sweetheart, since your a little behind, Keith went to rehab for his addiction. I think it takes a lot more courage and a majority of strength to realize that “Hey, I need help. I’m going to surrender and take a different path.” He has been healthy ever since. It must take a lot to get over when he’s madly in love with Nic, and now has a beautiful baby girl wrapped in his arms.
I just want to ask something — do you know Nicole and Keith personally? Even gathered together for a talk/dinner of some sort and really gotten to know them as friends? Oh yeah, “just wondering..”

Congratulations!!! I was blessed to get to meet Keith on June 7, 2008. I was one of five grand prize contest winners for the backyard BBQ he hosted in Nashville. He was so warm and friendly as he met us and our guests. We all knew that we were blessed to be there. What a genuinely nice guy!!!
