No Wonder Kellie Pickler Likes High-Glam Style
When she first appeared on American Idol, Kellie Pickler looked like the farm-girl next door, with a sweet smile, long hair and tight jeans. Fast forward a few years (and a few sessions with pro stylists) and the smile is still there, but Pickler is now a glamour goddess, favoring high heels and haute couture gowns. "My hair is a lot shorter now," she says as she describes her new high-glam style, which includes a variety of sassy hairstyles and more defined makeup. "I just have the greatest team of people around me, and they've helped me develop a look that fits me. I'm happy with it, and it's most important that you're happy with what you see when you look in the mirror."
With the wealth of fresh-scrubbed all-American faces making country music these days, Pickler certainly stands out, assuming a sexier Monroe-esque look reminiscent of Lorrie Morgan. Pickler maintains anyone can emulate her style without hiring a stylist or spending a fortune. "As far as makeup and hair and all of that, you can find any shade of lipstick and eyeshadow imaginable, whether you're going to Wal-Mart or you're going to an expensive boutique," she says. Once you get the makeup, it's all about experimenting until you find a combination you like.
The trick to her asset-accentuating wardrobe, Pickler says, is finding the right fit. "Everything I have, I have altered," she explains. "I'm really short -- I have a long torso and short legs, so I always have to get all of my pants hemmed, and I always have to get my shirts taken in at the waist. I'm awkwardly shaped. The key thing is making sure your clothes fit your body right and complement your figure. Everybody's shaped differently. Everybody is different colors and different sizes. We're all different, and that's good."

Of course what this blog doesn’t tell you is that Kellie would prefer to have her hair long but those in charge of her career won’t allow her to do this. So why wasn’t that mentioned. Maybe those in charge of her career might also like to explain why they use hair extensions now, even in the photo above, instead of just letting Kellie grow her hair out this length, or again, is it because they refuse to let this artist grow her hair any longer than it is now. When Kellie answers these questions then maybe I’ll believe just how much she likes her hair, until then, all I see are qoutes taken from who knows where or when she even made them. I even have to question if she even made these quotes seeing how there are so many quotes out there that Kellie and her publistist have denied were ever made by Kellie.
As for Kellie’s body and legs, they are portionable to her height, so I fail to see why any of her clothes are altered. Unless of course your trying to make her chest appear larger than it actually is and buy tops 2 sizes too big in order to give that appearance. There’s a simple solution to that, stop lying to the American people in trying to get them to believe Kellie had implants and let her wear tops that fit the 100% real body that she has, because to do otherwise is a total waste of time on her labels part since everyone already is aware it was only them trying to start this rumor in the first place in order to hurt Kellie’s career. As for getting all her pants hemmed, not only do I not believe this comment, but having seen Kellie in a bikini many times I don’t see why there would be any reason for it seeing how millions of other women are the same size and they don’t find the need to do this. But after reading this blog it appears obvious that the person who wrote it was trying to show Kellie in a negative light so I’m not surprised I’m reading things that make no sense. Seeing how this is posted at CMT, a station that belittles Kellie most of the time, doesn’t surprise me either. Apparently taking home the most CMT awards this year means nothing to them.
Kellie’s label and the country music industry have made it clear they don’t want country music fans liking this artist more than the others, most country music fans continue to ignore their wishes which is why Kellie is the most popular female country artist in country music today. You just won’t find the industry telling you that, and they’ll manipulate charts, sales, and award shows in order to fool you, but the truth always comes shining through, be it the 170,000 people that show up at a fair when she performs in Pensecola FL recently, or the millions of viewer hits her music videos get at such sites as youtube and AOL Music, Kellie is by far the most searched country artist when compared to the miminal promotion she gets to others in the business. And the reason Kellie is the most popular and the most searched is very simple, it’s because some of these others are nothing more than phony hype, while Kellie is the real thing. It’s no wonder her label and the industry try to make Kellie out to appear a phony like the others, because if they didn’t all country music fans would see just how phony those others are and would no longer be fooled, pathetic on their part I know but that the country music industry for you nowadays.
