Editor’s note: Taylor Swift spent most of Monday (April 14) preparing for the 2008 CMT Music Awards airing live tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. She’s giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her day by sharing several brand new photos taken backstage at The Curb Event Center at Nashville’s Belmont University.

Great song writer, talented individual, must have a phenomenal manager. Every time I have seen her live it has been painful, this was no different. To see her perform live on the same stage with Leann Rimes and Carrie Underwood really validated that these awards were for bright lights, production, and marketing, not singing.
I do not want to bash the girl, I was just disappointed to see more talented individuals go unnoticed. I hope the success does not “go to her head”, that would make her unbearable. Good Luck Taylor, you have long ways to go, but you are at least on track.
