Around the Web: Dixie Chicks, Toby Keith Unite
Toby Keith and the Dixie Chicks are making nice and teaming up for a public service announcement about the changing climate. Does that mean hell has frozen over?

Before the Britneys and the Fergies, there was Bob Dylan. His influence on pop music and American culture has earned a special music citation Pulitzer Prize.
Although she wasn’t at a Nashville casting call for the Hannah Montana movie, Miley Cyrus was recently seen signing a fan’s arm so it could be tattooed.
With a new album hitting stores tomorrow, James Otto is pitching for the Atlanta Braves, sort of. He can now be heard singing “The Braves Play Here.”
Country’s favorite songs are almost ready for bed. A new CD with lullaby instrumentals of some of country’s biggest hits will be available April 22.

I loved Dixie Chicks when they came out! They were country ladys, and they stood for our new country lady ways! So I thought…… but when they ran down OUR own country in another country, that was the end of my respect for them. In my opinion we all have our own opinions about a president during their term as president. We can all voice those opinions here in the united states among each other. But bottom line is when we are representing our country some where else… good, bad or ugly…. we show our undying respect for our land, country and people. The preseident of the united states represents OUR people and we just back him… period. But we can vote in another person later if we would like to go a different direction. Don’t smear the undited states by disrespecting the president when you are representing OUR country! I’m sorry but I still haven’t forgotten and I doubt seriously if any of us good old girls will. And Dixie Chicks…. us good old girls….. we are the back bone to the good old boys… and the children of this PROUD country. Good luck in something other than a public stage in this country. Because there are many of us that when we hear them trying to get your music back out on the radio… we still change the station or just turn the radio off!

For those good old girls or boy’s for that matter, The DIXIE CHICKS ROCK! NOW&FOREVER!! What better way to represent those supposed ideals of this country when you can show the world how free we are when we can say whatever we want anywhere in the world we want!
I guess if we can’t those who are getting killed under old glory are getting killed for absolutely nothing! Then I guess that is it. Thank You good old citizen’s for straightening me out!
By the way I am not only ashamed that Bush comes from Texas but that he comes from the US! Boy,what does that say for those that elected him?
