Garth Brooks. Oklahoma raised, Oklahoma supported. But, he couldn’t even sing ONE song at our state’s centenial celebration? No one bought a ticket just to hear him sing, but Reba sang multiple songs, and you can’t tell me he couldn’t sing ONE? He says he wasn’t “asked”. Who has to “ask” Garth Brooks? This is the state who made him into the man he is, the one who supported him, and he came on stage and introduced an OKLAHOMAN who would sing a tribute to the OKC bombing victims. I used to be a loyal fan and loved him. No longer. I will never buy another album or ticket to ever see him. And I will not boast about him being from Oklahoma.
