Swimming to the Statue of Liberty

Blake Shelton on Clash of the ChoirsSo, I have been here in NYC for a few days now, and I still haven’t gotten to do anything that I want to do.  I mean, for the love of God, I went shopping with Miranda … you would think I could find a Home Depot or something.

So I was thinking in rehearsal today … if I could do anything that I wanted … if I had a few hours, I think I would go see the Statue of Liberty. I can see it from my hotel room and I am tempted to put on a wet suit and swim on over there. Or maybe I could go get a massage…one of those where they put on that crazy music and put rocks on your back. I always wanted to try that.

Can you believe that Kelly Rowland got voted off? I had flashes of that happening to me…

I just want to congratulate you and your choir on an excellent showing. I really enjoyed your performances. I still think that you should have won, after all I am partial to Oklahoma as my son lives there. He said he saw you at the horse show trying to recruit members. He lives and works in a small place named Byars. I am interested on the diversity of your members backgrounds. Can you fill me in? Thanks again for the effort you all put into this and into making Oklahoma proud.
