At Tour's End, Jack Ingram is Behind Bars
The last week of shows with Brad Paisley ended on Saturday and I felt like a caged animal ... really! Brad came up to me with a camera he was holding and told me that they were going to miss me out on the tour and he had such a great time touring with me and we should do it again and, as he pointed toward what looked to be a cage, told me I should go get in that cage over there. I was a bit confused to say the least. I looked at the cage, then looked at Brad and thought this all seemed a little strange and I'll be damned if I'm going to step into a cage.
Then I looked around me to find 30 members of the Paisley crew surrounding me. I rethought my stance on being damned if I'd walk into a cage. I actually kind of like cages! I was walked into the cage, they wheeled the cage out onto the stage and introduced me to a few 15,000 fans. I tried to remain calm but well... I was in a cage with my guitar supposed to be wowing the folks with my musical prowess -- but I was in a cage. How did I get here? That damned Brad Paisley!!!
After trying to make my way through "Wherever You Are," he was kind enough to bring out a little saw. What a good guy. I'm sure going to miss Brad! @#$%^&*
I'm out of the cage. It's a good day.

Wish you had done that in Charlotte. (You were great there, by the way.) I saw Kellie do her chickens prank there.

And speaking of Kellie videos, maybe you can get your friends at CMT to fix her CMT Loaded videos, almost none of which work anymore.
